why would my realm of Dunfarthing become a wood elf protectorate? they are on the other side of the map and we haven't had close relations with elves for years

@squakhawk I don't really think rp is that splintered, there are a number of major active hubs. If it is a problem it is one that we as players should solve ourselves rather than demanding more poorly thought out staff rules.

The rules are in a great place atm and shouldn't be messed with much.

Vale players want their own space so let them have it. If they **** up diplo and get annexed again then that's an L for them.Maybe someone can vassalize them through war if they want.
