Hello, I am Brandon! I hope to join the server so wish me luck in my application, this seems like a really interesting server! As for me, you might be able to guess I am a big fan of Shakespeare and his works. My username, BolingbrokeIV, is inspired by the antagonist of Richard III, Henry Bolingbroke, who overthrows the weak-willed Richard II and becomes the king of England as Henry IV. I took some inspiration from Shakespeare's works in my character and am excited to see how it plays out if I am accepted to this role-play experience. Cheers, Brandon

Henry Mowbray, hailing from the land of Vailor, specifically the Capital of Felsen, had lived a relatively simplistic life. Henry possesses brown hair and dark eyes, and stands meekly at 5 feet 8 inches tall, his build being slim. His parents a city guardsman and a seamstress, he was well-endowed in having a constant supply of food and a stable roof over his head. His father sent him to apprenticeship under an unimpressive stonemason at a young age, hoping Henry could become a craftsman and make a better life for himself than he had lived. Henry’s father, though hoping Henry would be able to make a living by means other than the blade, still understood the harsh realities of the world and taught him basic swordplay and martial skills as a young man. Henry would prove himself unaccomplished in the martial world, but would be taught to read by the local Bishop of the Church of the Canon. Henry would find a keen interest in letters, and soon began digesting all such works he could get his hands on, taking a particular liking to the rhymes and lyricism of the contemporary poets. Around this time as Henry would come of age, Henry and his family would be forced to immigrate towards the Isles of Axios. Unfortunately, his mother would pass of pneumonia on the long voyage by ship, where Henry and his father gave her a burial at sea. Eventually, they landed on the large isle of Axious and there Henry and his father settled into the newly founded Capital of Johannesburg. Henry and his father settled in the Emperor’s capital and made a living off of odd-work for a time, until Henry’s father would die naturally from old age, his heart stopping at supper one evening. It was then up to Henry alone to make a way for himself in this strange new land, and he eagerly set out to make a name for himself. Personality Traits: (what are your character's quirks?; habits?; likes and dislikes?) Henry is an effeminate lyricist taken to ideals and fascination, he is young and proud, freed from the yokes of his familial responsibilities he feels a great sense of curiosity and adventure yet to come in the world. He will speak in a lyrical fashion, oftentimes probably not making any sense as he tries to put a grandeur to his voice. His habits could include a passion for engaging strangers in venomous battles of wit and ensuring his fingernails and feet are pristinely clean. Henry has a passion for reading and aspires to write poems of his own, though wishes to first have awe-inspiring experiences in the world with which to inspire him. Henry strongly dislikes violence and martial men, being particularly inept in the ways of fighting and war. Henry will avoid physical contact like the plague, though his proud tongue and manner of speaking may get him into trouble he does not have the steel for. Ambitions: (what does your character aspire to be?) Henry hopes to make a name for himself in the world in some fashion, whether as a famous poet and writer or through other means. He aspires to serve a lordly man and begin a family, mayhaps one day seeing himself or his children attain nobility in Holy Orenian Empire. Strengths/Talents: (what is your character really, really good at?) Henry has a sharp tongue and a mind for witticisms. He is good with letters and can read and write proficiently. He is also adept at getting food on the table in one way or another. Weaknesses/Inabilities: (what is a skill that your character needs to work on?) Henry is a short and weak man, and is a poor fighter. He will most likely be overpowered in any physical confrontation and thus avoids violence as best he can. Henry is also overly proud for his station, and will boldly retort any insults or derisions made in his direction. Henry also has very little practical skills, and will most likely need rely on others in order to survive, as he has no experience in farming, crafting, or any laborious skill. Appearance: (what does your character look like?; how tall are they?; hair color?; scars?) Henry is 5 foot 8 inches tall, and has inherited a slim and meek build from his mother. He has brown hair and dark eyes and a rather stout nose. He is fair-skinned and possesses no notable scars or markings on his skins aside from a blemish here and there. He is by no means good looking, but rather a perhaps below-average looking fellow, and will most likely struggle in the pursuit of love.
