Iron doors are used as vaults or entries to major cities, so it makes sense that their locks would be complex and break a lot of lockpicks. That said, it shouldn't be completely impossible. On the other hand... <builds like 5 more iron doors in front of his valuables>

He'd first go to Haelun'or to seek information, then the Dominon. The other Virarim would inform Lythorien of Karren's fate, and Ranger-Master Lythorien Banebow, truly sickened that he'd not seen the pain in Karren and was unable to help him, would return to the rest of the Rangers of the Wild with the sad news. A dark day, indeed.

Heyo, everyone! If you know of me, you know I've been almost completely inactive for a few months thanks to on-going health issues. Unfortunately, those issues are getting worse. Fortunately, treatments for 2 of them have been invented and passed FDA approval, so my return to the server is inevitable! ? That means Rangers of the Wild, my main character's tree-hugging, undead-slaying, people-protecting guild is NOT going away and is currently accepting members still. I'm still active on Discord nearly every day. Ping me/DM me there if needed/curious about the guild. In the mean time, however, I ask that activity checks on my free-builds and houses be put off until I can actually get on LotC on a regular basis. I know that's a lot to ask, but it's worth a shot to do so. On my way, I was accosted and robbed, but managed to convince the dwarven bandits not to take my new pet, and instead they took many of my belongings: a saddle, my food, and a few minas. Shaken, I continued on my way, into Haense’s territory. There, I came across an armored human. He introduced himself as Rhys Ruthen, Count of Metterden, which he informed me is a vassal of Haense. I say this understanding our isolationist policies, and the history behind why we have them. To Horgoth: Unfortunately, you'll need to choose between Ranger Envoy or Ranger Sentinel. Note that Ranger Envoys can still contribute to battle and take on quests by commonfolks to clear out unwanted undead/spider infestations, but are mostly a peaceful rank. Sentinels are almost entirely based on combat, but can also aid in peace-making, recruitment, and other non-combat matters. As a note to future applicants: I will be accepting that Horgoth does not have a Discord because of personal reasons he has discussed with me. This doesn't mean that his exception is now allowed for others unless previously discussed. Other than that, everything looks good! To Malcias: I need your full Discord name, including the numbers. Lol part of me agrees with you but part of me is like "BUt where will we go when we can't find RP near us? Or want to meme horribly?" No, I getchu. That's why I said I was doing those exact things (turning off Global OOC and muting the Discord chats that have been problematic for me) in my post. I'm taking the steps to avoid the bad juju already. And, also like I said, I know I can't change anyone but myself in the end, even if I make suggestions they have to be constructive and not emotional 'wah poor me u all suck' in the manner I did so previously. ...Not that I'm honestly going to make any suggestions for a while.
