Posters are hung all around Anthos inviting people from all over to the large stables just outside Gronkkston.

Drake Stable Horse Fair

 

Come by the Drake stables for a day of fun and enjoyment. The even will last as long as you wish it. Starting early in the day we will run all day. Come bring your horse and enjoy our facilities. We have many things to do and many ways for you all to have fun.


Think you got the fastest horse? Test it in our track. We built a large track with the horses in mind. Race against each other or try to beat our timer. You can test to see if your horse is the fastest of the fast, or slowest of the slow.





Think your horse has the best jump? Or just want to see how well your horse stacks against others. We have a jumping range set up just for you. The jumps range from two meters to five. Dont think that is enough? You are welcome to try and jump your horse into the pen.




Want to just enjoy the festivities? Hitch your horse or even put them in our pen. We will allow free stabling of horses. Our stable is built to prevent thieves and will keep your horse safe while you have fun.





We have plenty of area for people to set up shops and sell the wears. We welcome everyone to this free event.




Everyone is welcome. Sell your crops, ores, and cloth. Everything is welcome. Show off your horse. A list of events are below. Bring your horse and bring your fun. All we ask is that if you are selling your horse, or wishing purchase one of ours, you speak to the owner or her staff.

 

 

Events

 

**Horse Race
Entry fee is 100 Minas
1st place gets 50% of the pot
2nd place gets 30% of the pot
3rd place gets 20% of the pot
Horses will compete in a 2 against 2 match to provide the most fun (less lag)
Third place will be determined by a tie breaker.

**Horse Jump Competition
Entry fee is 20 minas
1st place gets 50% of the pot and a title (name tag)
2nd place gets 30% of the pot
3rd place gets 20% of the pot
Horses will compete one at a time for best jump
Highest jumper will be recorded as the best

**Best Horse Overall
Entry fee is 50 minas
1st place gets 50% of the pot and a title (name tag)
2nd place gets 30% of the pot
3rd place gets 20% of the pot
Horses with the best Jump height, Speed, and health will gain the title.
Judges are picked out of those not participating
Best horse will be known by all and will be concidered a "Blue Ribbon Horse" (best for breeding)

 

 

Location

 

We are located at the old potato ranch. The orcs that have given us the land cleared it out and graciously gave us the land. We personally thank the original owners and builders for their effort in making this area beautiful prior to our additions. We are north of the gronkkston walls and south of the marshes. A map is provided for those who need it.

Date and Time

The event will take place on the last day of the elven week and the eleventh hour. (December 7th, 2013 at 11am PST (2 pm EST, 7 pm GMT))

 
OOC NOTES

((The event will be determined at 11am PST. The event will last all day so come when you please. The races will start at 1pm PST. Jumps and "Best horse" will be all day, winners will be sent minas at the end of the day. I will take pictures of horse and owner as well as info on stats. If times need to be adjusted, let me know. PLEASE if you are going to show up just to cause trouble, please know you are not welcome. I want my first event to go nicely. ^^;;))

Loche stares at the poster, tilting his head almost sideways as he grins. "Horsies! YES! SPARKLES SHALL BE ENTERED IN THIS GLORIOUS SPECTACLE OF HORSY HORSE... NESS... Yeah... Hmmm..." He glances around at everyone staring at him, before shrieking at pointing at the nearest person. "WHAT DO YOU WANT? YOU WANT MY FLESH DON'T YOU? YOU ALL DO!" He freaks out, spinning in circles and screaming madly. He soon runs away, straight into a tree, knocking himself out cold.

Seraphine smiles as she puts up a few more flyers around the place. She seems confidant that she may have something good happening for her. She walks with her horse Poppy, whom just recently recovered from a bad spill while training with a child. She walks with a slight limp next to her owner, her stomach heavy with the promise of a new foal.

Seraphine walks along changing posters. She smiles happily as she posts them around. She seems content on being able to do this fair this time. As long as the world doesn't vanish the entire elven day again.

Sha rips down the posters, irritated that the woman took over the beautiful stables she had created in the orc land.  In blood she writes down.  "Thief."

Seeing as Sera never leaves the stables anymore. She sees someone at her stables painting "Thief" in blood. She keeps silent as she watches the elf, knowing full well who she was. She goes out and immediately cleans the blood and goes straight to posting new fliers. However, this will become harder for the other woman, as she has just messed with the Orc's stables.
