Acornlad 206 Share Posted November 28, 2013 -The Warlock of the South sits on a stump in the elven forest, his red robes blowing in the breeze, his mask gazing emptily into the eyes of those who listen to his tale- "A horse of bone and fire gallops across the lands of Anthos, scorching the lands in its path. Artheo, the lost horse, separated at death from his master, forever wandering the dimensions to find its master. The beast, great and powerful, faster than the wind. The battles Artheo has fought forging it to be a great war horse in its time, but now just remnant of what it once was- sad, confused, and angry. Its cries in the night; empty and hollow. It sings its sad song of death. A shell of flesh iron, rotten flesh on bone within; Undir walks. Rusted metal sparking on the ground, his feet dragging as he searches for part of him which was lost. Separated at death from his horse, his anger and remorse burn where his heart once was, his fire searing all that is near him. Forged in battle he was, experienced and deadly among the best knights to fight in these lands. He walks the cities of Anthos, lashing his burning blade about until what he desires is brought to him. He cries in the night; empty and hollow. He sings his sad song of death. They search for each other, Artheo and Undir. Their sadness igniting a flame of rage. Reunite them." [OOC]: The Artheo and Undir Event will take place in multiple places at random times. The players goal is to find the two and bring them together. Please note Artheo cannot be tamed.

~ Fiend ~ 611 Share Posted December 8, 2013 Undir lumbered into Malinor, looking around with his glowing red eyes. The undead knight's armor clinked and and clattered against the stone paths as he looked around for someone. His cries into the night sky were ignored, save for a tiny hand wrapping around a pillar, small, fearful eyes peering out at him. She was the one he saw. The little girl shied back as Undir approached, bellowing out his odd request... "Take me to where the horses are!" At the stables, he was surrounded by humans of all ages, curious and hostile alike. Some insisted they kill Undir, causing him to draw his sword, only to be immobilized by rain. Many humans seemed eager to kill him, to be rid of the apparition, until one man called them off... "We've ''killed'' him many times before, he just came back. Maybe it's best if we listen to what he has to say." All it took was one man. They dragged the knight into the stable, out of the rain, and helped to pick the rust from his joints. As they worked they listened to his story. With apprehension they freed his sword arm, and keeping his word, Undir sheathed his blade. The humans kept their promise as well, scouring half the continent with the undead knight in tow in search of the one known as "Artheo". It was a while until their search led them to Malinor, Undir left whistling at the sky in hopes of hearing a whinny in answer. "Uhm... Undir?" The three humans who had led the way stared at the skeletal horse with apprehensive concern. Undir turned, making a lumbering beeline for the other specter. United at last, it was a rather ghastly sight... and yet, tender somehow. The man, or ghost, who had so shamelessly murdered people over simple disagreements, was a chuckling, joyful, seemingly harmless figure in his companion's presence. A single hug of Artheo's head was shared before Undir jumped onto his back, waving to the humans who had helped him so, and offering tokens of his physical form as he rode off into misty nothingness through a portal of blue flame. The pair vanished before their very eyes, leaving little more than a memory in their wake. [This event is over. Thanks to everyone who participated, especially the three who "quested" with Undir!]
