Tayelikel 193 Share Posted December 7, 2013 As one walks around the city, under a tree by the shore small whimpers can be heard, coming from a small panther kitten kha. it might sound like a hurt kitten. if you decide to go to the sound a large kha lays in a bloody heap. long gone, the small whimpers get louder and a small tail pokes from the large khas arm. a head emerges as well as the cub crawls out from burrowing herself under her dead fathers arm for warmth. she paws at his cheek. finding him un moving she meows softly. a distress cry,Iicking his face as she paws at him more, trying to wake him. as he remains dead she goes to her last resort. putting her two front paws on his cheek, and standing on her hind legs she bites at his ear. her cries get more desperate until she gives up trying to wake him and moves to nuzzle herself under his chin. she remains out in the open. orphaned. and alone Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

Kim 1328 Share Posted December 7, 2013 Ja'Jujan notices the small group gathered around near the city and moves closer to investigate, the smell of death making her fur on the nape of her neck rise. She narrows her eyes and shoves past the few standing there, spotting the cub. "Gett'awy frawm the cawb, aypes." Reaching over, she pushes Kristian's arms forcefully but politely down from where they are being held outstretched, before kneeling down closest to the cub. His golden armour clanking slightly with each step. He watches the apes, head shaking slightly. "Yu du nawt becawm ayp Kha'.. Awr Kerdantul weel hawv tu delevawr Metztli's rage." Kim 1328 Share Posted December 7, 2013 Ja'Jujan holds her hands out slowly, ignoring the rest of the apes surrounding her. She needed to get the cub away from a place she could draw unwanted attention. "Eet'aw ees awky, leet'awl wawn." She crooned, using the voice she had often used to calm her own cubs. She hears an unfamiliar Kha' voice behind her, and turns her head to investigate. "Sa'vi...." She mutters, before returning her attention to the cub. "Deawths hawpeen tuu mawny Kha'." Looking back at the body, she closed her eyes and bowed her head. Lips moving silently, Jujan prayed to Metzli for a second before standing up.
