Arkelos 1027 Share Posted December 8, 2013 Malinor. The simple name brings forth mixed emotions from the other races, but to the Elven kind, they remember it as a forest of lush trees, The Mali’aheral, with their gorgeous settlement of wrought stone. But, not all is kind, the city of Luminaire lay in a waste of its former glory, the trees bare and the statue of Malin corrupted. A dark tower that overlooks the former proud home of the elves. The secrets kept inside a mystery. With so much loss, the sundering of the Silver city of the Mali’aheral, the forced relocation into what is now called New Malinor by many. There lays but little hope as the Mali of all type rest upon the borders of the Scourge. The Cloud temple directly south of them corrupted, they seem to be cornered on all sides by the Scourge. They are the most directly affected, and their moral still remains high that someday they will be free of the plague that is called the Scourge. But the highly moralized Scourge will continue their onslaught, the Elves pinned against the wall. A figure described by many as “Robed in holy white, with golden trim spread around her body, which leaked out silver wisps of light” had left many notices upon the Elven lands. The notes bore the following message. “Brave Elves, citizens of New Malinor, and High Council, There is no doubt in my mind that you all know how the scourge has affected us all directly, the Corruption in the former city of Luminaire that forced us out, the fact that scourge relentlessly attack us and kidnap our people, turning them into abominations. We stand backed into a corner, but we must never give up. Though the hour may seem at its darkest, I have wrote this letter to remind you that there is still hope, and throughout this suffering that has affected Malin’s children, we must continue to strive towards a day where we may purge the Scourge from Anthos once and for all. We shall shine the light that furthers this endeavor. Together with the forces of the other races, I am certain that the Elves will be freed from the overlooking shadows that is known by the name of ‘Scourge’, but for that, we must unite, become one and forget past strife for the betterment of Anthos. So, my Elven kin, though we may dislike fighting, I ask that you rally up, rise up and fight! For if we back down in our darkest out, we shall be devoured whole! We must fight on, to preserve our precious children, to preserve this world! They took the fight to us, now its time we take the fight to them. -Signed by Naeri’aheral, Grand Magistrate of the Anthosian Commonwealth” -----------------------------------------OOC----------------------------------------- -Elves only, post in your respectful racial posters unless you live with them -I ask that ALL ooc to be moved to Private messages, I will try to answer them as soon as I can. -The Racial leader should mark their post (That states their pledge to join) in a way that I can recognise. -Leave the trolling to other places, any trolly posts will be removed (No warnings are going to be given, though)
0000 175 Share Posted December 8, 2013 Alkenaar places the letter down, squinting out of the window at the darkening sky. He placed his hand on his sheathe, and smiled, missing the thrilling sensation of action.
Avella of Thess 6 Share Posted December 8, 2013 Blood the Hunter happens upon one during his stay in Malinor. He studies the parchment carefully, grunting slightly and then glancing at the sheathed sword at his side. He has wraiths to hunt, but the Scourge was a serious threat he would have to keep in mind. He leaves the page where it sits, determining he will need to speak with this character who had written the notes.
Dry Crackers 268 Share Posted December 8, 2013 "Bah," scoffs Emanaf, looking at the poster. He remember the tavern last seed "The other races are more interested in killing us then the Scourge." He turns away. "The Deamon cursed the races of the lands, and none may reconcile them now. Not mage, not blade, not a living soul may bring a unified purpose to the creatures of this plane. . . only fear may do that. And fear the Men do not have. Fear the Orcs do not have. Nary the Dwarves. Only Elf lives afraid now." He walks away, heading South. "Only elf lives afraid."
