Looking for a home and some work?

Come to the County of Schattenburg, located in the south of Oren. Ruled by The House of Stafyr and it’s current Lord Farley II. ((Emenzi))

We can offer you a tax free home based on the amount of work you do in the land and the time you spend contributing to the community.

As of now there are currently thirteen free homes in Schattenburg in different sizes, everything from small farming cottages to larger two story houses.

Schattenburg holds several opportunities for work and all work tasks are managed by the village Bailif, which is currently Jacob Frost ((Helbolt)).

• Streetsweeper

There are market stalls in the village if you wish to sell your excess produce and products.

 

The security in Schattenburg is maintained by the Imperial Army and they will in the future hold an outpost overlooking the land but the direct security of the town’s people is the village sheriff who is appointed by the lord, not associated with the old sheriffs of Oren that was disbanded after the last Horen.

The sheriff may also take on two deputies to help him maintain security.

The current Sheriff is Galtor III. Stafyr. ((MrGreene_HD)), any security questions or inquires about taking on the deputy position is to be sent to him.

 

Medical assistance will be done by the Cleric Daniel Kamura ((Dandan1350)), he will maintain a house near the village with a clinic where he may help those in need. He will also protect the village against corruption from dark beings.

Directions to Schattenburg.

 

From the Cloud temple refugee -

 

As you enter the cloud temple refugee you look towards your east, you will there see signs leading towards New Lenfarthing, you follow these signs and shortly afterwards you will start to see signs leading towards Schattenburg as well.

When you reach Lenfarthing you continue to walk east until you reach a small crossroad with signs leading to Cavan, Abresi and Schattenburg from that you continue straight forward through the large wheat fields, following the signs leading to Schattenburg.

 

From Abresi -

 

As you leave Abresi you follow the road until you hit a small crossroad, there you go south following signs to Cavan and Schattenburg.

You pass Cavan and continue on that road and walk for a bit until you reach a crossroad with signs leading to the Cloud Refugee and Schattenburg.

There you take a left turn towards the east and walk through the large wheat fields reaching Schattenburg.

If you have a ship you wish to dock somewhere we may offer that in Schattenburg, for a docking fee depending on the size of your ship you may be allowed to dock it in the port of Schattenburg.

The village also holds the tomb of Saint Godwein of Huntshill, located beneath the church who is conveniently named after the Saint himself.

So the pious who may consider to take a pilgrimage to his tombare welcome and will gladly be taken cared of during their stay.

 

Servants are also being searched for, to help the House of Stafyr maintain their manor.

Servants are granted free quarters within the manor estate where they have free acess.
