Experiencing Chat Bug

I cannot type anything into /rp, /looc, /ooc, or any other chat input system. When I do, it says, Cannot send message

 

This has been going on all day but the GMs don't know how to fix it. So, can something be done or should I just quit trying to roleplay?

Um, go to Multiplayer Settings. And, hit Chat  = Shown.
 

You probably have it under Chat = Hidden or Links Only.
