A Simple Day, Cursed with the Cold

 

As Dwarven Legionaires finally manage to push off Human and Orcish attackers, a new threat arises. Hordes of feral elves and an ice morph rise above the hill and lay siege to Kal'Ithrun. Quickly responding to the threat, Dwarves begin to push them back and continue to chase the Elves back into the deeper areas of Dwarven Lands. Slowly, bodies begin to litter the roadway until a halt is called.

 

Feral Elves and cultists alike run into Kal'Urir and seal the entrance, casting spells and throwing rocks at any Dwarves that linger.

Preparations for an Invasion

 

Shallmandril Vriizum Vri looks up from his planning table and views the three feral elves who returned. Guessing what had occurred, Vri slaughters all three for their failure to serve Ondnarch. Displeased with this failure, Vriizum summons for Ice morphs and more men to arrive from their capitol. Looking across his maps, he prepares his final act of sacrifice to the great ice aengul.

 

The City of Kal'Ithrun is lit up to the darkest of hours, with Dwarves preparing for an invasion. Battle Leaders made plans and distributed equipment while soldiers sparred and mages meditated. The day had come to begin their push on Ondnarch. No longer would the Dwarves run and hide from the powerful Ice Aengul. They would take the fight to his domain, and purge his curse from their ancient lands.
