aye it takes gold blocks sir to make a gold hoe. Gold is not one mina each either. You are insane sir if you sell an ingot for les than 120 so i am actually giving you guys a great price!

(( It has nothing to do with the fact that staffs are made with TWO ingots, and how each ingot is roughly above 100 Minas. Not even a little bit. ))

Gold hoes were made to take 2 gold blocks and 2 sticks, in order to make magic more special and rare (that's what I remember the post saying) but I guess they didn't remove the old recipe where 2 sticks and 2 ingots makes one, so people just use that.
