War Rules/death

Does your character remember being in the war if he/she dies, which is most likely what would happen in such a situation? I think in circumstances of war you should be able to have your character remember the details, or at least that he/she partook and did something in it.

I'm not sure what the circumstances are exactly.

If I die in pvp, I usually pm the killer and ask if instead of rping as dead, I can rp as being wounded, so I can further develop my character

That's a good idea.

I believe that if you were killed/wounded, you would remember perhaps minor details of the battle. After all; the monks would ultimately revive you and I dont see any harm in remembering that you were apart of a conflict/battle, in which you were wounded in, so long as you do not remember specific detail.

I would play it safe and simply remember minor details of a conflict, as that to me seems like a way to encourage further roleplay as your character desperately tries to figure out precicesly what happened, how their friends are holding up, and what the outcome of the conflict was.

Be sure to check the rules here regarding war, found here;

In a situation that once happened to me where I was almost BRd, a verdict was made that the character essentially must forget anything that could make them guess on how they died. In other words, for war deaths, I would simply say that you have your character think that the battle still has yet to be fought, as it doesn't allow them to guess what happened yet they won't be completely clueless when told that the battle did happen.

If your character was long preparing for the war, or knew in advance he/she was to partake in it, and woke up at the cloud temple as they were packing up, chances are they knew they went to war. You can still use logic to reason what might have happened.
