Problems With Lotc (Lag)

Now, Im not completely sure if anyone else has been getting the lag I've been getting but I would like to ask if anyone has any suggestions as i've tried everything: I have everything on low settings, I have full internet connection, Nothing else is open but I constantly crash and cant rp with any of the people I've meet and it's really becoming bother some, Im at the end of the road on how to solve this I cant even get to some of the planned events I wanted to go to :< please can someone tell me or suggest something?

Settings wont improve lag on the server :P the problems will hopefully be fixed shortly, Tel said he's aware of the issues and he's working on fixing them ASAP.

Thank you Freya sorry for complaining I usually dont do this but its gotten to the point where I cant enjoy the server :I well I guess that kills this question~

At least you can meet people. I log in, fall into a giant hole, gets teleported to where I crashed and crash. :/

If it doesn't improve soon, you could always try getting Optifine. (It more than doubled my FPS and removed most of my lag). Freya's post also made the mod obtaining and understanding process much simpler: http://www.lordofthecraft.net/topic/99906-lotc-modtexturepack-repository/
