Hello everyone. As per the recent developments in the dwarven antagonist, I’ve decided to make another feedback thread to see how players are finding their experiences with them so far. The questions are fairly simple. What I would like to know is whether you've enjoyed the experiences or events you've had involving the dwarven antagonist or whether you think there is still some room for improvement. If so, any feedback regarding what you think needs to be changed would be much appreciated. In addition to this, I’ve added an additional question to gather how well you’ve been able to follow and understand the story line so far. Obviously this will vary between dwarf and non-dwarf players but hopefully it will give us a rough idea of what changes need to occur.

Bear in mind before voting that experiences with the dwarven antagonists include, Ondnarch, the Snow Elves, or any of the Cultists you may see wandering around Anthos or during events.

Edit: To anyone who is having trouble following the lore, I'd recommend reading the following threads. More will be added to this list as further developments take place.

There's also a good number of links to dwarven lore in the Remembrancer thread which is pinned in dwarven role play.

So yesterday when we got the hammer, does that count as a event?

That would be considered an RP event, yes. These are particularly difficult to pull off, due to the availability of ET members and GMs but are personally my favorite.

Haven't yet met him :/

Tho I think you should remove the PvP Events options..
I honestly think Roleplay should be promoted over PvP Events..
( Personal oppinion, no criticism. ))

I think personally that a good mix is what we need. After all, some of the tech team members took the time to make the dwarven antagonist its own plugin so there's no need to put it to waste. In terms of PvP events, what I'm referring to is large scale battles such as what you would have seen quite often with the main antags in both Aegis and Anthos. The RP events are a little more closed off to smaller groups of players as these aren't as easy to do with such large numbers.

I think more RP events and also I feel the dwarven antag doesn't really display its advancement upon the dwarven lands. Yes the antagonist has taken over the city of Kal'Azgoth, but has it started making holds or defensive points to hold back an offensive from the Dwarves? It may be too late at this point to make any changes. Another thing I wish to see is opening up the RP of our antag towards other groups of players, I feel that it's closed to mostly the dwarves which isn't bad but I'm sure other people would enjoy the RP. A final point in my opinion is that the Dwarven Antag is somewhat not very threatening to the world of Anthos. The Main antagonist I understand is supposed to be the main threat to all of Anthos, but I feel the Dwarven Antagonist isn't really considered as something to be really concerned about in RP. (( Though I haven't witnessed all the events of the Dwarven Antag as of yet.))

With the implementation of the Cultists as their own kind of subgroup of the main dwarven antagonist, you'll be starting to see the points you've listed occur far more often now. To quote what I put in one of our google documents.

The idea here is that there will be two fronts on the war against Ondnarch. The first, in the west will be against the corrupted snow elves and will generally consist of the big planned events by Dreek as the dwarves attempt to push them back from the docks, through the deep roads and into Kal’Azgoth. This will be the main questline and will ultimately determine Ondnarch's fate. However, in between this, there will be a second set of events, set in the east. This will consist of a campaign by the mortal ‘Cultists’ who were originally responsible for setting Ondnarch free from the Kal’Varak. These events will be more player driven and will have people actually role playing with people in other nations, as well as arranging attack events. This will spread the threat of Ondnarch further into  Anthos, though the majority of cultist events will continue to take place in dwarven lands.
