Right now, the only settlements in the old malinor region are Lenniel (I'm not even sure if it's in the actual 'malinor' region or one of the extensions), and Lyu'lin.

 

Lyu'lin is owned by Myself, and is under the Scions. No loyalty to ebs

 

Lenniel is Talonii, no loyalty to ebs (as far as I'm aware).

 

The land of old Malinor is much more of a vacuum than being collectively owned by any one person. The only real possible result of you taking 'ooc control' of the land is being warclaimed for it... with only you to defend.

This is like Mogroka trying to make the Carrions warclaim Oren land once he left. It's utterly pointless. The Conclave is the successor state to the Princedom and inherits all land that is not contested by other nations with legitimate claim.

 

Moreover, the Talonnii do not even want this land. If they receive it against their will, they will either turn it over to the Conclave, or the Conclave will make a blood-free warclaim on it.

I'm perfectly willing to allow roleplay to continue as roleplay.

With the disbandonment of the Princedom, you have no more a claim to the region than anyone else. The region will most likely be cleaned up then set to freebuild.

Just spoke to Rittsy on this matter. He is just about to go to bed and says he'll make a post when he wakes up if necessary.

 

[3:54:32 PM] Rittsy: The fact that owners changed hands means that a GM dealt with the situation already. Players don't get to hold on to a region and claim ownership simply because they never agreed to giving up the region OOCly even though they have no claim to the land IC. It's both or neither.

Beat around the bush all you like, the Princedom is dead and no longer has any claim to any land.
