The letters read, "To the guards of the King's Watch I have hereby resigned from the guard, as it is a rather difficult job for those, such as myself, who excel in long range combat. From what I have observed, this job only emphasizes the aspects of sword to sword combat. I apologize to the guards, you have done much to defend Abresi. This is my letter of resignation, which I bestow upon you. Fear not, I will still defend this city from the shadows, but 'tis time for me to continue on from the guard force.
