- 2nd of Snow's Maiden, 1454.

Wilfriche Buron and his band of Jolly Ruskans gather in the damaged square of Abresi, all preparing themselves for what lies ahead. They sharpen their swords, duel eachother and tell stories of what will occur when they save Abresi. While his men speak and fight, Wilfriche talks with Lark Steelwall, the one who had led the previously (failed) mission into the sewers. Lark was experienced, Wilfriche knew this, and therefor was absolutely important to the crusade.

After done speaking with Lark, Wilfriche learns of Lark's tactics and devices of destruction. He then takes a headcount.

Vladislav (Vekaro)

Richard de Hauteville (empirerebel)

Abner Rahl (Taylorstriffe)

Konrad (Italian_Assassin)

Rowan McHaryn (XRyanSeveranceX)

Branaford Fairheart (TNTlover12345)

Tadok'Azog (nisocanisco)

Lark Steelwall (Origin_Lark)

Wilfriche Buron (firestar25)

Once the headcount was finished, the men rallied and led theirselves into the sewers, one-by-one, down into the darkness.

Slowly and steadily they made their way through the sewer, through the murky waters. Rats scurried past, homeless and poor moaned, but the men continued on. As they led their way through the sewers, they stumbled across rotting bodies of previously-dispatched rat priests and rat monks, the cultists which the previously (failed) mission had killed in their defense.

They walked over the slumps of corpses, digging their way deeper into the sewers. Suddenly, they began to hear the echoes of deep, deep snores of the mother rat they had once before encountered only to be defeated. They once more recounted their plan and made their way into the mother rat's chambers.

Each of the men dropped down into the chambers, careful to not wake the rat. Lark immediately went to work planting his explosive device, and the other members of the party developed a plan of luring the rat.

Once the explosives were planted, the men were hesitant to wake the rat until Richard de Hauteville began to scream. This immediately woke the rat, who growled and charged the men. The party held the rat back with arrows and their own blades, until the rat was wholey lured into the middle of its chambers. Lark lit the fuse of the explosive device.

It all seemed to fly past as the sewer fell in on the dear mother rat, killing it most instantly. The source of the plague was finally destroyed - leaving Abresi free.
