Kickstarted and Running 965 Share Posted March 10, 2014 Letters are sent to both the High Pontiff of the True Faith and the King Heinrik of Carrion, ruler of the Holy Kingdom of Oren. High Pontiff Your Holiness, I make the request to dub the Emperor Godfrey with the title of 'the Great' for his deeds in his life. To common knowledge no such title was granted upon him, which is disturbing and upsetting considering what he has done for us. Reforming the True Faith, Reestablishing it as well, appointing a Divine Faith and Guidance for Mankind, always acting through the Holy Creator, a Holy Crusade to Unify Mankind in Asulon, and protecting Humanity with his Divine Might with a will and memory that has lasted for many decades. I plead this be done. Thank you, Your Holiness. Konrad of Loken, Brother of the Order of Saint Lucien. King Heinrik of Carrion Your Majesty Heinrik I of Carrion, I make the request to dub the Emperor Godfrey with the title of 'the Great' for his deeds in his life. To common knowledge no such title was granted upon him, which is disturbing and upsetting considering what he has done for us. The Unification Wars, Human-Dwarf Wars, Conquering of Anthos, and Asulon, and protecting Humanity that has lasted for many decades. I plead this be done. Thank you for your time, Your Majesty Konrad of Loken, Brother of the Order of Saint Lucien. Other fliers are posted up, with neither letter hung up, instead alternates are hung up around Oren by Faithful, and praisers of Godfrey of Horen "People of Oren and the True Faith! The title of 'the Great' is the single greatest title one may achieve, only obtained few times in our own history! The Emperor Godfrey has not been granted this title, as is His right to have! Letters have been written to our King, and the High Pontiff pleading for this to be granted to Him, the Emperor Godfrey of Horen! I ask you people, support this, and grant the Emperor Godfrey what is his! Emperor Godfrey the Great!"
Lago 2572 Share Posted March 10, 2014 The Emperor's name strikes awe into the hearts of men by itself. Unlike lesser kings who need such dubbings to be remembered, the legendary name Godfrey Horen does not need such... adornment.

Knox213 10 Share Posted March 10, 2014 A man is still a man, and in 200 years tey will wonder at us and why we did dishonor to a His name. Godfrey the Great has a ring to it anyway Dubbing a man means nothing, years from now I may be dubbed "The Great" But hundreds from years from now I may be dubbed the tyrant, or even have my dubbed title revoked, for all we know we may not even be here hundreds of years from now. Says king.

Lago 2572 Share Posted March 10, 2014 To suggest another Horen will take the throne is to speak treason against our rightful Carrion monarch.

Kickstarted and Running 965 Author Share Posted March 11, 2014 I didn't realize naming someone Godfrey meant that you're trying to usurp the Throne. Forgive me Carrionvochna master keeper of secrets lord.
Lago 2572 Share Posted March 11, 2014 For there to be another Horen King the Carrions would have to be deposed. To suggest such a thing could occur is treasonous talk.

He simply asked 'What if another male of the Horen bloodline is named Godfrey'. In no way did he imply that Horen would become a king."
Lago 2572 Share Posted March 11, 2014 Dost thou suggest that all men who share names require dubbings, even if they be but commoners?
ĔṀĔŔĨĨČĶ 519 Share Posted March 11, 2014 Dost thou suggest that all men who share names require dubbings, even if they be but commoners? "Are you dumb?" he asks again. "In no way or form did I suggest that at all. I need you to show me your ears because you lack of sense has forced me to assume you are in fact an elf."
