Have you ever roleplayed before

I have played a bit D&D, and lately I have been playing a Game of thrones inspired roleplay game with Fredfort(jens6851) as game master  and with ElFelixO, Adin1128, Groo’Tar (don’t know her name in here) and a few others.

Have you been on another roleplay server?

I haven’t played any roleplaying servers before.

 No, it’s my first time applying to this server.

 

How did you hear about us?

I Heard about this server trough my friend Fredfort (jens6851)

What do you think the server will be like?

I think the server, will be bout fun and serious, it seems to be really thought trough.

Have you read and agreed to the rules?

I have read and agreed to the rules.

What’s your favourite rule/ or the one you agree with the most?

I think the rules that Meta-/power gaming are illegitimate important rules.

Because it can destroy the game for others. And because I think the roleplay part (obviously) Is really important, on a roleplay server.

Definitions

What’s roleplaying?

 Roleplaying Is to play as a character instead of “playing” as yourself.

What’s metagaming?  

Meta gaming is when you use info your character does not have. To influence your character’s choices based on that info.

What’s powergaming?

When you only focus on leveling up, and ‘use’ others. Power gamers normally just try to “win” as fast as possible, without roleplaying.

Human/Dwarf – Halfling

She’s a girl.

How old are they?

 She’s 34 years old

Give us a brief description to their life – their story, childhood, family ( include server lore when writing):

 Linete is a middle child in a family of farmers, but she never really got a hold of farming herself. She grew up in the summerset shire, but had always wanted to see the world, cause unlike her friends and family she have a strong desire for adventures.

That resulted in her running away from home in the middle of the night when she was 19 years old. She had only packed some of her clothes, and the few mina she had herself. So she lived most of the time by doing small jobs, and trying to find nice souls who would let her live in a small room or in the stables, she often paid by baking cake, her specialty is apple pie.  She never stayed long in one place. Even thou she have been a lot of places, she have a terrible sense of direction, and can never find back to where she came from.

Once when she had wandered around in 11 days without seeing any sign of the races of Anthos, she saw a little cottage, where she immediately decided to make a visit. The owners of the cottage was a human family, who were really nice, they offered her to stay overnight, she thanked many times, and offered to make an apple pie to thank them. When she was in the middle of baking, someone knocked on the door, and an old man came in, he knew the rest of the family, and introduced himself as John Lartius Fredfort, he stayed over for dinner, and also got a piece of Linete’s pie. When he was done, he promised that he would remember her and her baking skills.

One day a funny group came and asked to her, in the group there was a Dwarf, a Wood elf, and an orc, at the time Linete lived in an inn, the Dwarf told her that the man named John had told that she was a good baker, but also lived on the road. He asked if she would be interested in joining their adventure group. That was a question she shouldn’t think twice about, the immediate answer was yes.

And that how she ended up In the adventure group, with the Human Arkan, the Wood Elf Myrdin, the Cave Dwarf Thorogh, and the Orc Groo’Tar. They travelled for many years and went through many adventures. But one day they got a letter from an Elf unknown to them all, explaining the death of Myrdins parents which died in the war at Malinor and how their old friend, John. Had something, which Myrdin should be given.

What are they like, how is their personality?

Linete try to think positive about everything, she don’t take life so Serious, and have a strong desire for adventures.

What are their ambitions/ dreams?

She wants to travel the whole world.

Do they have any special skills?

she is incredible good at baking, and easily affects people around her with her mood.

What are their weaknesses?

 She have no sense of direction at all, and she really often end up laughing in serious matters

Linete is 2”9 (83.8 cm) , she have long brown hair, dark brown eyes, and usually wear a dark red jacket.
