[To celebrate March Madness, I deciding to come with a fun little game.]

The Grand Eggball Tournament

-The Game-

The game of eggball is one similar to dirtfoot (Ignore that weird name, but it's like american football), which has

grown quite popular in recent times, but with a twist. There are five players to a team and ten players on the field at any given moment. The overall goal is to bring the ball (An egg mcly) to the opposing players side or goal in a matter of 2 chances or downs. The Defense carries wooden sticks to bring down the ball carrier and once a player carrying the ball is hit down, that down ends and either results in another team starting with the ball at the end of their goal or the start of another down. Passes can be  forwards, sideways and backwards are allowed to get to the goal.

[[i'd like to see if I could get a knockout plugin-esque for the tournament, otherwise it'd be a hassle.]

 

-Overall Rules-

-Only 5 players per team are allowed in at a given time, more than 5 will result in a minute ejection.

-Being knocked-down with the ball twice results in a loss of possession

-There are no illegal hits, as in it's impossible to do one.

-Anything other than a stick used in Defense, will result in a man down for 3 minutes.

-Passes may be any direction, but remember if the other team catches your pass, it's their ball.

-Any race/being may attend/play, so long as they do not disrupt when watching or playing

-Players must have possession of the ball the whole time when they enter the goal area, else it will be stripped

-First possession is decided by a coin toss, and the loser receives ball second half.

-Bracket will depend on how many register.

 

-Scoring and Play Time-

-Each goal or ball that is delivered into the are 1 point.

-There are no other ways to score other than a goal.

-The first half of the game ends when a team gets to 7  total points

-A brief break is issued, allowing viewers to grab food and drink.

-The second half begins after the break, and ends when a team gets 14 total points.

-Winners of their games advance to the next bracket.

 

-Game Location-

As of yet, the Grand Eggball Tournament does not have a stadium ready, but one is in the works but if another stadium is available, please notify us.
