An arrow rends the air, an elvish figure falling to the ground in pain. Armored men surround his struggling form, a voice speaks in the silence "It seems the captain has fallen, also why did we shoot him?" The man struggling in his guards arms speak up "You have no right! I'm innocent!" Another voice from the gathered guards pips up "If you were innocent why are we here?" 

 

"Mhhm he's right. Flo Kryaos you are a traitor of Malin. How do you plead?" Flo answers Darius with a curt but strong voice "I plead neither, do with me as you wish." Darius raises a brow "These are 1st degree crimes, you could be hanged for this." Flo smiles, a laugh slipping his lips "Then go ahead and hang me." Darius shrugs, motioning a guard forward who carries a Varsele brander "Face brand I suppose?"

 

Darius nods "Where else?" The guard smiles, nodding going forward raising the brander level to Flo's face. Flo smiles and laughs again. The brander is pushed forward to his face, smile stays as he screams in pain from the heat. Darius looks down, no mercy in his face "Shouldn't have betrayed my nation Capt'n" Several guard hands reach down to push Flo upwards, dragging him to the gallows.

 

3 hours later, the body lays in the temple. A monk standing over him, fixing the body. Flo's eyes begin to flick open, a confused expression set on his face. The monk smiles down, ushering him up. The Varsele's face comes to a realization "I must get to my city! Work to be done!" Flo grabs his cloak and runs off, heading for Old Malinor. A look of horror comes over his face as he sees the city, Conclavian men walking over, kicking in his crews handy work. 

 

A tear slides down his face. He turns and begins to run back to the temple. Business goes on as usual, a cloaked figure running towards the wild dock. He sets sail for the abandoned city, tears now streaming down his face "Good bye my beloved land" He arrives in the city, setting up a camp and taking over a abandoned house.
