What’s your favourite rule / the rule you agree with the most?: - I like the combat rules, because they make things more clean.

Definitions

This is simply so that we can get an understanding of how much you know about roleplaying. Feel free to Google the answers, but make sure that you write the reply in your own words, not another website / person's!

What is roleplaying?: - the acting out or performance of a particular role. In this situation, I will be roleplaying a medieval character named, "Barroes".

What’s metagaming?: -  Metagaming is using out of character information for your benefit in game. It is also when you tell or warn someone else OOCly about something RPly.

What’s powergaming?: -  Powergaming is doing something that is considering impossible or unrealistic in the current setting. An example of this is: 

David slashes at Steven with a bastard sword, the hit connecting with Steven's shoulder. After being hit, Steven does not take into account his damaged shoulder, and uses both hands to slash at David with his poleaxe. That would be considered powergaming.

In-Character Information

Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play.

What’s your character called?: - Barroes Meletial

What race are they (and sub-race)?: -  Human

What sex are they?: - Male.

How old are they?: - 28 years old.

Give us a brief description of their life - their story, childhood, family (Include server lore when writing): - 

Barroes was the son of Tirenas Meletial, a Captain in the war effort against the raiders that were destroying the coastline of his nation. Due to this, he was often left to himself, as his mother was busy with housework and his younger brother, Uldryn. Barroes frequently fought on the streets, honing his fighting abillity. Although it was not much practice, it gave him the abillity to defend himself, which he values to this day. After nearly a decade of war, Barroes' kingdom had won the war, but only with great losses. His father was among these losses, forcing Barroes to start working at the age of 14. He began work as an apprentice to the local blacksmith, eventually learning the basics of the smith, but it quickly came to a halt after his master was murdered by local bandits. Without a job, Barroes could not provide for him family, this made him make decisions. In order to keep his family alive, he joined the City Watch, requiring soldiers after the consuming war against the raiders. This changed his whole life, making him grow up the life of a fighter. It was not only until he was 26 years old did he leave his town, his mother finally laying at rest. His brother continued his life while Barroes wandered the North, searching for some sort of purpose. 

Within a month, Barroes had gathered numerous friends from the villages he went to. Although he worked at these villages, it was never for prolonged amounts of time, and sometimes, when he left, his friends came with him. After another few months, Barroes arrived in a new land, looking for some sort of work to provide for himself. He brings only his fighting abillity and loyalty, searching for friends in this new land.

What are they like (personality)?: - Barroes is very secretive about what he does. He hides his emotions and will normally do as he wishes. 

What are their ambitions?: - Find a place within the Kingdom of Oren.

Do they have any special skills?: - Well-rounded swordsman, not particularly stupid.

What are their weaknesses?: - I suppose he needs work on social skills.

Give us a description of how they look (not a screenshot yet!)?: - He has brown hair and dark green eyes. He is roughly 6 feet and 3 inches, weighing in around 185 pounds.

Anything else you want to say about them?: - Not much, to be honest.
