Apologies Where They're Due.

When I first joined Lord of the Craft, I was a serious and determined role-player and I'm sure many who knew back in 2013 can back me up on this statement. Very unexperienced, mind, but I was still eager to improve and get better. I still look back on those first few weeks as a newb as some of the best and enjoyable times I've had on the server, because everything was new and complex to me and it felt really awesome to get into the community and hop into this cool little world where you can be whatever you wanted to be, wherever you wanted to be.

 

As of late, however, things have shifted onwards greatly. I've been struggling with a load of things IRL recently, things which I'm uncomfortable to speak of because it's my personal life and I don't want to be known as one of those people who go crying to the internet when they've had a bad day. I've always tried to hide my problems, and my best way of doing that as LoTC. It sort of just became an escape for me, and it soon got to the point where I was thinking more about IC happenings than OOC necessities. 

 

Eventually, I befriended a certain group of peoples (not going to call out names here, that **** ain't cool) and they sort of changed my outlook of the server as a whole (not blaming them for my trolly attitude, by the way. This is all me).

 

The server was still an escape for me, sure, but I began to take it more as a joke and a laugh then what it really is; a place where people can come to practice theatre and drama to their hearts content. I took on a very trolly persona, and it's only now looking back a bit and reflecting on this fine, sunny Monday afternoon that I realise how much I've ruined people RP and immersion to the server.

 

So, consider this thread a legitimate apology to all those I've came off as spiteful and selfish to, and an end to forum, TS and server shenanigans. 4.0 is coming up soon, so I figured since it's a new map, doesn't some deserve a clean slate?

Glad you mentioned that, because I'm really sorry on that note also. I have nothing against either you or your nation/county/barony/whateveritis, it was just the 'in-thing' at the time to hate on Festina, lol. You're a smart and intellectual dude, you've proved that to me already. Keep doing what you do man
