What is roleplaying?: - Playing a role as a character, under your control.

 

What’s metagaming?: - Bringing something you know from OOC to IC when you character is not supposed to know.

 

What’s powergaming?: - Forcing someone to do something. As in roleplaying something like “Grabs Gelandorf” “Ties to tree” without giving the other player a chance to resist or stop this.

What race are they (and sub-race)?: - Elf

 

What sex are they?: - Female

 

How old are they?: - 19

 

Give us a brief description of their life - their story, childhood, family (Include server lore when writing): -  Aerilaya  grew up on the Island of ArmaLuna, with her brother Tarren and their father Darfin Zelphar. Her mother had died when her brother was born, so she made it her job to look after him. When her mother had died, Darfin’s mental health deteriorated and he was driven to madness because of his loss. Every night he came home from the local tavern, stinking of alcohol, rowdy, throwing things about. She taught herself to fend for herself and often would disappear for a day, secretly training- hunting, archery. She used sticks to practise sword skills. At home she would cook and care for her brother, rarely seeing her father.

One winters day, when Aerilaya was only 12, her brother fell ill with a fever. She had begged her father for help, but lost in his thoughts he sent her to her room. Only a few days after his sickness her brother passed away, Aerilaya at his side. She cursed at her father, it was his fault, she would say. She would never forgive him, so she fled to Elandriel, vowing never to return to ArmaLuna. For the rest of her years she grew up alone, moving from Inn to Inn, gaining money by hunting animals to sell. She bought a horse, whom she named Taleisin. He was her only friend.

 

What are they like (personality)?: - Antisocial, bitter although a kind heart inside. She is the type of person tough on the outside, hiding her true feelings. She can be boisterous and sarcastic and if you get on the wrong side of her she can turn ugly. She would never intentionally harm an innocent person and she is not willing to live with that guilt.

 

What are their ambitions?: - To become a master combat trainer and live out her days in peace, without loss.

 

Do they have any special skills?: - She is a talented fighter and rider.

 

What are their weaknesses?: - Her past. Anything about her family breaks her spirit.

 

Give us a description of how they look (not a screenshot yet!)?: - She is tall, skinny, with piercing blue eyes and candyfloss hair. Her skin is pale and around her head she wears a flower wreath., She wears a velvet green cloak covering her identity. Beneath her cloak she wears a leather top with silver, silk arms. Her trousers made of silver silk fall to her ankle to show brown leather boots with the pattern of a wolf.
