((I apologize for the lack of capitalization of the 'C' in the title.))

Out-Of-Character Information

What’s your Minecraft Account Name?: - Teksnotti

How old are you?: - I am fifteen years of age.

What time-zone do you live in?: - GMC:  -5:00

Have you ever roleplayed before - if you have, how?: - I have experience roleplaying both with friends IRL in DnD campaigns aswell as different online places such as forums and different games/MMO's. Mostly sticking with medieval and apocolypse RPs, however.

Have you been on any other roleplaying servers?: - Other game servers? Yes. Minecraft? No, no I have not.

Have you applied to this server before?: - This would be my first time applying.

How did you hear about us?: - Minestatus, and a couple of friends spoke about this server before, I just didn't pay any attention to it up until now.

What do you think the server will be like?: - Based on what I've read along the forums, I expect a great community and some quality RP. The lore is pretty solid and I hope to enjoy myself and the RP of others along the way.

Have you read and agreed to the rules?: - Yes, I agree with the rules. Fairly basic and easy to understand.

What’s your favourite rule / the rule you agree with the most?: -

Quote

  • If you're building something yourself, please make sure it actually suits the area it's in - and that it makes roleplay sense! That means, you can't build a giant floating castle, or a physics-defying tower! Be sensible when you build. Also, if you're underground, make sure you add supports to the area, else it would logically collapse.

Definitions

What is roleplaying?: - To my own understanding, roleplaying is colaboratively working to write and/or make stories together. Acting the part of your character and doing only what they would do.

What’s metagaming?: - Metagaming is forcing upon yourself to know something you wouldn't know to begin with, giving yourself information which you only acquired OOCly.

What’s powergaming?: - Powergaming is the act in which you are not giving the person(s) you're RPing with time to respond to your actions, forcing what you want to happen onto the other player(s). It is something everyone can knowingly or unknowingly do from time to time but is best to be avoided at all costs, for the sake of better RP.

In-Character Information

What’s your character called?: - Charles A. Pierce

What race are they (and sub-race)?: - Human, quarter-elf.

What sex are they?: - Male.

How old are they?: - Twenty-eight years of age.

Give us a brief description of their life - their story, childhood, family (Include server lore when writing): -

Charles was born on a warm night during the season of Sun’s Smile. He was first born to Weylin Pierce and Telia Prior, both were Northerners. His birth was taboo in nature, as both Telia and Weylin were out of wedlock when he was conceived and birthed. His parents were in a flustered hurry to figure out what to do with their new child and came to an abrupt decision that Telia should stay with relatives in the Southeron provinces while Weylin worked his time in the Northern lands, sending back money to pay for his lover and child as often as possible. Telia’s cousins, Eynisis and Marves, were more than willing to allow her to live with them on their property. Happy to lend a hand and happy to be able to see the beauty of a growing child.  Charles would live a happy life on his relative’s farmland, receiving tuition in not only writing and mathematics but also the inner-workings of a farm.

Charles was always a curious child, questioning why things are they way they are. Thinking and asking about things that his relatives and mother would never think about. Why the trees turn orange and shed their leaves during the Amber Cold. Why the creatures of the forest act in unison or direct aggression toward each other. Though his family always answered with the same; “That’s just how they’re made, dear.” His thirst for knowledge would always abound with him wherever he’d go in future happenings.

At the age of sixteen he took up a passion for writing and went on to write journals and small books on various subjects he thought were interesting, keeping a multitude of books stacked on the bookshelf in his room. He began to adventure around the farmstead and draw the scenery or animals, as well as keeping stamped flowers and leaves of various sizes, shapes, and colours in his books. Keeping the stamped items with their relative books, of course.

Jump forward four years at the age of twenty, Charles would have gone to progress as an avid writer for the area of the farmstead, the townspeople looking towards him for advice on certain knowledgeable pursuits and teaching those who asked. Though, it wasn’t all glory. On multiple occasions he was made the laughing stock of the town because he didn’t conform to everyone else’s thoughts for what a man should be like. “A man should be strong.” They’d say. “A man should know his way around they field.” They’d chant. Charles tried his best to keep the feelings at bay and not let them get to him, but at times it was too much. He never fully quit what he loves, however. He had times where he took a break, to lessen the pier pressure. Pick up on some other form of artistry, like poetry or instrumentals.

Finally, at the age of twenty-two he left the farmstead on his own accord, dragging his books and personal belongings with him onto a caravan stopping by. They left to travel to Abresi, the capital of Oren, where he hoped to learn from their libraries and the tomes they held. On his way, however they were stopped by an Orc raiding party and made him forfeit his belongings. When he gave up his items the Orcs had laughed and burned the books, taking with them the valuables instead. Charles and the rest of the group got off lucky, seeing as they weren’t kill, but continued to make way for Abresi on foot.

When the caravan finally arrived, Charles made first way to the local Tavern, shoving the library aside for the moment. He continues to stay near Abresi to this day, helping where he can and learning what he may. Mayhaps one day he will finally quench the thirst for knowledge he’s always had.

What are they like (personality)?: - Charles has the outgoing and introverted personality due to being isolated and made fun of during his times in Southeron, though he has extroverted tendencies as any Southeroner  (If that’s the equivalent of Southerner?) would have.

What are their ambitions?: - Charles strives to be both a well-renounced writer aswell as fairly recognized for other traits and jobs he has done from town to town.

Do they have any special skills?: - Other than being exceedingly intelligent from his knowledgeable pursuits during his life, he's rather un-special.

What are their weaknesses?: - He isn't very strong, aswell as he has a weak knee and weak ankles from various sprains and minor breaks. He isn't very fast because of his weak knee and ankles, quite obviously.

Give us a description of how they look?: - Charles stands at an average height in the low-end of the six feet range, his body is of a slightly thinner mesomorph. His skin is fairly tanned from living in Southeron for most of his life. His jawline is strong and his chin is chiseled, while his cheekbones are somewhat prominent as well. His eyes seem sunken in from strained or lack of sleep thereof, though otherwise his eyes are a deep sea-green. His hair is dark-brown, cut short and spikey in the front, laying flat in the back, while his chin and cheeks has some unshaven scruff to it. For attire Charles wears a form-fitting gray undershirt with a leathery jacket for colder climates. His pants are simply brown linen pants, nothing fancy. Also having common boots to fit his general attire.

Anything else you want to say about them?: - Based off of the profound medieval surgeon, John hunter.

Please give us a screenshot of your character’s skin: - post-66056-0-17901300-1399161003_thumb.p

I shall note one thing, your character would be infertile and also live only a few years more than the average lifespan of a human. Since the race curses apply to crossbreeds. As I'm sure you have read up since of your sufficient knowledge on the lore.

Please wait patiently while your application is implemented and you are whitelisted.
