The Firmin Family has long been respected for its wealth and prestige amongst the common folk in its old ways. The first of the Firmins were merchants selling blades and values in a time of war to guards and soldiers alike. The trade of the Firmins eventually shifted to foods, drinks, and rare commodities. Its prosperity lead to the birth of Northmead, a town where commoners flocked to work in the fields and in taverns. With attacks of so many foreign enemies, and threats over the land in which it was harbored on, the town fell to ruins.

 

With the fall of Northmead, the Family of Firmin fell into economical struggles. Many of the family members became lost in the lands of the Fringe, while others took to cities in search of jobs. The old ways, in which Rand Firmin long kept under-wraps since Northmead came about, returned for the prosperity of the Firmin Family. After several years now the family members have slowly been finding their way back to each other.
