The Silver Masquerade

Several scrolls are pinned up around and outside the city of Tahn'siol and read as follows:

"Dearest mali'aheral, tolerated elves, lesser elves and snow elves,
 
The Silver Masquerade shall be held within the Caretaker's inn this elven week. Arrivals shall be required to remove their masks upon arrival for identification purposes, their attire shall be recorded. Any and all illusions shall be broken. Frost beasts shall also be detected should they attempt to gain entry to the blessed city.

 

Arrivals are reminded that weaponry shall not be permitted within the Silver walls of Haelun'or and that only Elsillumiran may remain armed, so they may protect the guests and blessed city of Tahn'siol— As it turns out your masks will serve quite well for the occasion of the masquerade.

 

To those who seek to destroy our merriment and joy: Know our wallsare tall and that we are not kind to those who seek to harm our kin.
