spqrSancus 175 Share Posted May 24, 2014 For some reason when I try to select the server, it is telling me it cannot resolve the hostname. Anyone else having the same problem? All other servers are fine, just LoTC which seems to be doing it. And how the hell do I fix it without using Google Public DNS or an Ethernet cord? kingnothing 571 Share Posted May 24, 2014 My mates were talking about the server flippin' butts earlier. I think it's better now.

Sporadic 2844 Share Posted May 24, 2014 If a hostname does not resolve for you try connecting via one of the alternatives. login.lotc.co works, as does login.lordofthecraft.net, lotc.co and lordofthecraft.net.
spqrSancus 175 Author Share Posted May 24, 2014 For some reason, it still doesn't work. I've tried every IP address I know of and I am on 1.7.2. :/ This is so frigging annoying!
spqrSancus 175 Author Share Posted May 25, 2014 This still hasn't been fixed. In hopes of finding something, I'm posting the screenshots I have of them. The situation has changed since, however, due to the usage of IP lordofthecraft.net, as none other even shows a thumbnail on the server select screen... Also, I will ask whether you need to use a certain kind of encryption (WEP, WPA, WPA2) to access the server, as I know Nintendo requires anything connected to it's networks to use a WEP key, and am wondering if this may or may not be something similar. Anything in terms of being able to connect to the server has not changed at any point during which I have checked it's status.
spqrSancus 175 Author Share Posted May 29, 2014 http://www.lordofthecraft.net/topic/111066-end-of-stream-error/ My issue has been resolved due to usage of IP 1.lotc.co. Thanks.
