How did you hear about us?: - From a friend, Truthseeker over a year ago.
What do you think the server will be like? - Fun of course, with serious roleplay which is what I'm after.
Have you read and agreed to the rules?: - Yep
What’s your favourite rule / the rule you agree with the most?: - Hmm... It's a tough one. However, besides the generic rules that most servers use, I do like the building rules including "physics-defying tunnels is not allowed". It should be interesting when I have to build supports for mines, etc.

Definitions

This is simply so that we can get an understanding of how much you know about roleplaying. Feel free to Google the answers, but make sure that you write the reply in your own words, not another website / person's!

What is roleplaying?: - Roleplaying is the act of taking a certain role/character/being and acting as if the character would. In LOTC for example, roleplaying would mostly be taking the form of an alternate "body" and acting as them, including speech, actions, occupation, history and so forth.

What’s metagaming?: - Metagaming is the act of using information that your character cannot possibly obtain. This could include reading about a war in OOC and hurrying over to the event location, where realistically your character could not obtain this information.

What’s powergaming?: - Powergamning is the act of doing something without letting the other party have a say. I.e forcing a situation. This can include emoting a robbery on another character, and assuming it succeeds without them roleplaying a counter/reponse.

Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play.

What race are they (and sub-race)?: - Dwarf - Mountain Dwarf

What sex are they?: - Male

How old are they?: - 97 (Almost 14 seasons)

Give us a brief description of their life - their story, childhood, family (Include server lore when writing): - Dywel was brought up by his father in the Grand Kingdom of Urguan, usually he would mind their own business, especially during the war with the Orcs of which his father fought in. When the Orc War was brought to a conclusion by Grand King Omithiel Strongbrow after the capture of Storm's Crossing, Dywel awaited his fathers return. Days passed, and still no sign of his father... He had assumed the worst but had hope. After weeks of waiting and worrying, Dywel had finally come to understand that the Orcs had taken his father's life. Before the war, his father was a blacksmith, creating the mighty swords, axes and armour used by dwarves in the Grand Kingdom of Urguan. Now under the rule of Thorin Grandaxe, Dywel wishes to continue his legacy, and follow in his footsteps in an aim to help rebuild the fragmented kindgom.

What are they like (personality)?: - Friendly to dwarves, with a hatred towards most Orcs. Mostly neutral at first with other races. Although not a Cave Dwarf, he enjoys mining and smithing, but doesn't mind fishing in his spare time! He gives off a bold and couragous appearance, but really he can be very caring on the inside.

What are their ambitions?: - His main aim is to become a well-known blacksmith in his fathers name. He is also interested in one day running a store to sell precious gems and materials.

Do they have any special skills?: - Skill in fishing and mining due to practice. He also has minor skill in axe combat and smithing.

What are their weaknesses?: - He trusts other dwarves too easily, and his hatred towards Orcs can often set him back.

Give us a description of how they look (not a screenshot yet!)?: - He has a light brown beard, with a red tinge. He has dark brown eyes that make him appear calm and relaxed. He has bulky and wide shoulders and does not look like somebody you would argue with.

Anything else you want to say about them?: - He often finds it hard to forgive others.
