A Little Valah Looking For A Home

 Share

Recommended Posts

Posters are seen trough Lin'ame, they read:

"Dear Mali'ame, as much as I'm sure of the fact nobody will really like this news, a small Valah is looking for a home within our walls, this child needs a home, and a good one. His name is"

A picture is attached to each of the posters:

Art sighs

"Give him to a human family before he grows up and tries to mate with our women and curse the next generation of our children to shortened lives."

Aeran sighs, sensing that someone else may also be sighing at that same time or something. Weird. He didn't feel like he could read minds... But damn would that come in handy. Maybe he'll dye his hair white, paint his face a bit, wear some robes, walk around making minas off of some some cheap tricks or something like that. Meh, he files it into his to do list, before speaking out loud for absolutely NO apparent reason.

"Wood elves may live by the high elves, but they don't have to become them."

Rhea Acius gasps loudly!

"PHAAAAANESSSS! I WANT HIM!"

Quickly her excitement is shot down by the laws of Haler'nor.

"Poo."

She quickly comments.

"Artemic is right, he'll just cause trouble. Give him to Vekaro or something."

Calethel adds a note to the poster as it says

"The child can live in my tree just outside Lin'ame, the child can't live in haelun'or, why not give it a house close to it? If that is also against the laws of Haelun'or, then I can't do anything. -Calethel"

Citizens and lliran of Lin'ame,

The child will not remain in Lin'ame for the duration. Should a home not be found for the child, he will be given accommodation until the time he reaches adulthood. Given the state of his being, and the laws established within the Concordant, no one has the authority to give him shelter in a permanent sense. We do have the authority to remove him however when the time comes.

Those providing for him now, I would stress the urgency of this matter in regards to time. It is best for him to be among his people, now, rather than be lost to their ways when he is expected to fend for himself. You are doing no service for him, by keeping him here.

Make haste in finding him a family, before I am forced to remove him from yours.

Apologies.

All the posers are torn down, a single note is left where they all were

"The child has found a home."

The note is not signed, just one sentence.
