Before becoming recluse, a young Elf named Meta spoke to him. He said it was not right to hold anger toward those not deserving of it, and Jean was quickly ashamed for holding a grudge against the Lord Basileus and his ward Lorina Carrion. Still, his neighbor was in danger, and there was only one thing he could do. You see Jean, a small and dirty boy, carrying a picket sign.
