Definitions

 

These terms are a major part of the server and in a few of our rules. Please define them so that we can get an understanding of how much you know about roleplaying. Feel free to Google the answers or check on our wiki, but make sure that you write the reply in your own words, not those of another website or person!

 

What is roleplaying?: - The act of pretending to be something you are not and explaining the movement of something you cannot act out in the game. Creating a persona and a new life to take on, without the acknowledgement of information about other characters.

 

What’s metagaming?: - Where information is gained externally from the game. For example the name of another character is obtained from reading the chat box rather than asking for their name in game.

 

What’s powergaming?: - A player who wants to annoy players and over powers gamers in an unfair and un avoidable way. e.g: Kills him with in one sweep of his sword and blows up the world

Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that you follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play.

How old are they?: - 30

 

Give us a highlight of their past, What life events make your character the person they are today? This is your character's biography. It is also required to include server lore when writing. (Names of towns, major server events, ect. Most lore can be found on our wiki.): - Jonathon was a noble boy who grew up in a castle near Abresi in Anthos. The castle was home to an Orenian noble family as to which he was the heir. One day, Human Bandits charged through the gates and slaughtered the guards. The family were eating they lunch time meal when the doors fell open and a legion of Bandits ran in. The family were butchered. However, Jonathon was able to escape by leaping off of the banquet hall balcony and into the castle moat. Jonathon spent the rest of his life roaming the wilds with the ambition of joining the rangers guild. Jonathon has been living in and off of the wild. Living in caves and hunting prey. Is He ready to experience life, times have changed since the castle and he has spent a long time in the wild. In his twenties Jonathon stayed with some elves who taught him how to shoot a bow. However, he is very weak with a long sword yet useful with a close combat dagger. Jonathon can now hit his prey accurately. fled Anthos to the fringe after the great wave destroyed all of the land. Now in Thales, it is time for Jonathon to leave the wild and take up the rangers Bow and Arrows.

 

What are they like? (personality): - Jonathon Is a kind person who is attuned to the wild. He cares for the creatures of mother nature and tends to stay away from civilization. He is kind to everyone which is also his downfall. However, Jonathon can easily snap and get seriously angry.

 

What are their ambitions?: - To return to civilization and achieve his ambition of becoming part of the rangers guild. Jonathon would also like to devote his life to orc hunting as they were the race which butchered his family in his castle, as a noble child.

 

Do they have any special skills? What are their weaknesses? (Try to list a few of both): - Jonathon, has skills in leadership and crafting. He is very talented in the art of potion brewing and would also like to learn magic. He is very energetic and is very high agility. However, Jonathon is not the sharpest tool in the box and he is over confident and is too nice to other people, especially when they want to cause him harm.

 

Give us a description of how they look?: - Jonathon is dressed in brown leather armor and has long flowing black hair. His face is muddy from being in the wild and he wears a red shirt. His boots are thich to protect him from the outside world. The mud on his face helps him hide in plain site when hunting animal or orc!
