Regions: What You Need To Know

Honestly my problem with the current Region system is the amount of people it takes to make a settlement on specific places, 40+ people for a region that is a 30x30 plot sounds a bit much for me.  Also the fact that many of the plots made seem to be uninhabitable, such as several being in the forest to the North-West, among the Giant Insects and such.  I appreciate the fact that you are trying to make the world seem a bit more centralized, but sometimes you can't get it completely that way, you can cater to the Nations, but please cater to the Guilds and Groups as well!

 

 Perhaps a map showing exactly where the 'Free Build' areas are, and moving to to 'Clean Up' the current plots, and make them much more manageable for the players builders.

 

The map looks great none the less, I love the ruins and aesthetics that you see about, and that sense of wonder when old Vets like myself find a place that looks Oh so very familiar, but I can't quite put my tongue on it.

I'm sorry but your regions is absolutely awful. There's too many hoops to jump through to get a simple thing done. I'd like to build a tavern along the roads where I can attract and create roleplay but apparently the plots needed required 3-8 players and a town pillar that we have to spend hours in the mining world getting diamonds needed to craft the pillar that would take an hour to finish. We have to do it quickly before someone else claims the land.

And why the **** did you hand out diamonds to nations when they can just give them out to their OOC friends?

Do you see the hassle that we have to go through to get a simple thing done. Oh and we were promised a free build land. Where is it?

That promised free-build land was so torn up within the first 8 hours that I spent the next 3 fixing it. Other than that I will work on lowering the player count on some of the regions.

What free land? Either you're talking about the Wilds, which obviously is going to be torn up for resources. Every thing else is permissioned and there is no way to get supplies and ores. The nations have the only mines and they wont open up to every day players to get a start. There is a reason players do not want to join nations, it is RP. Roleplay has driven them away from the calling of nations, and these out of character necessities are causing a lot of OOC tension.

I forgot to add that those freebuild areas were temporarily switch off of freebuild so that everyone's 1st day jitters can calm down. I am not going to sit and puppy guard a region waiting for people to scar it. I believe the northern savanna is freebuild and in a week or so I will turn the southern plains back to freebuild.

Question, if a pillar gets killed because of the passport bug do we wait for the bug to be fixed or get a new pillar, i have twice the required number of people for my town but cant accept because of the bug. Im worried about the time limit kicking us out for no reason.
