The Slumbering Trine

A second volume seemingly linked with the previous bird-droppings of a crow in the Fringe once more makes its return. The addition reads as below:

The Onyx Trinity slumbers, the three now dormant,

thus the matriarch’s children now have warrant;

a trio of children, birthed under horns,

their past selves forfeit for deathly scorns;

but transcendance was too much of a toll,

now forcing the Demon to speak through a scroll.

 

Endowment drained the fiend’s infamous might,

imposing his coil into an era of weakened plight;

the cost was dear and spurred a plan,

so the Demon Child spread his ethereal wingspan;

left with none but ears and eyes,

the hellion embarked with his frail guise.

 

With a mother’s softness he bemoaned,

in the gazes of his Brood, becoming enthroned;

the Child relayed his ordeal, informing his offspring,

they concluded immediately, helping the being;

four feet and tentacles tred onward,

for their black slumber was augured.

 

Ebony caskets were filled with their chassis,

ending their frantic killing sprees;

ending their trails to Pain brusquely,

twas Agony, Anguish, and Misery;

the ternion was sealed, chained, and bound,

entombed, the Demon was again crowned.

Emaciated and grim, the occult three raze,

they bear the footfalls of death and malaise;

vexed to blight and muzzle the scorn,

to truly none do they mourn;

for the haunting Onyx Trinity is nigh,

and when veiled in their presence, even death may die.
