Let me clarify the "We don't care" We don't care about the hate is more of it, we care about anything that is constructive, but all that hate... we don't pay attention to.

Another reason to let the snelves die. People bring OOC into IC, whether is unconscious or just blatant carelessness. People can and will put their OOC hate of the snow elves into their roleplay and kill you and raid you until kick the curb. Sad truth. Welcome to Lord of the OOC.

Holy mother of god stop it. Enough with the feedback threads and the ooc please for the love of god. Just stop. Everything that has happened to the snelves has been brought on yourselves, I'm glad that you admitted that. Largely due to your leaders but also largely due to the snow elven population that didn't stop it, fight it and sometimes even encouraged it.

 

You CANNOT change public opinion with feedback threads or OOC posts trying to sell your side of the story, it doesn't work that way. If anything, it makes the snelves look a little sad and a bit pathetic. I'm not trying to be rude, but it's the truth.

 

The only way, the ONLY way the hate will stop is that if you get new leadership (obviously as has been said many times) and you change IG with actual actions, not OOCly while begging for people to stop the hate, but to actually perform actions that are worthwhile...

 

...or you die out. I'm sure you guys prefer the first one, so why don't you guys attempt to work at it, rather than making endless feedback threads and OOC pity posts on the forums, hoping that one day people will miraculously change their opinions on the Snelves without having to put any real effort into it.

 

My Advice:

 

Develop a culture (actually developing a culture does not mean writing up names of gods and history and words you use and claiming that you are different, developing a culture means developing a definitive and recognizable national personality that is clearly distinguished i.e. the high elves' snobby racism or the orcs endless aggression) and actually RP it out, actually make it the focus of your RP. At this point the snow elves are just what used to be bland boring normal elves, with names they claim for their history and culture with an affinity for snow.
