1. Are the Tunnelsmashers an active clan still?

 

2. Are the Irongrinders an active clan still?

 

3. I can't find the clergy thread, is it still active?

 

4. How do you become part of the Lord's council?

 

5. What groups are there to join?

 

The underlining thing is, I want to become someone important, willing to climb my way up but these questions are something I'd like answered please.

I would advise you pick another clan besides tunnelsmasher, if you intend to attain Thane-Ship. Currently their clan only actively consists of Bael who is also in the Australian time zone and they do not match the criteria of the Great Clan a they have not mustered enough prestige to hold a seat upon the Thanes' council.

Irongrinders are your best bet. However, their election method for Thane-ship is by election of the Clan Elders and I would not be wrong that the current Thanes are elected (with bias) from the two founders who trade positions when needed.

I would advise you find the post with the information regarding 'Thane election methods' as they tell how each Clan determines a Thane. Another factor is that you should extensively read the articles and the laws if you intend to hold such a high position and that you actively aid the Kingdom through noticable activities. The more you help and the less you are an annoyance, the better chances you will be chosen.

Edit: There are many groups you can join, I would suggest you check the Dwarvish guilds section for more information. Currently the Legion is in reformation! Also after reason the articles you can learn how to establish a company (and profit from areas of production not yet claimed).

As final notice, there shall be no taxes for the first few weeks until the economy has been established, an ideal time to claim a company!
