Have you ever roleplayed on a minecraft server before? If so, where?: - Yes, a server known as ‘Ken’s Server’, amongst it’s players, as it doesn’t have an official title. I have also roleplayed on the Planet Minecraft forums, creating posts to add people on skype to roleplay, as we would have to continuously refresh the page if we were to roleplay on the PM forums.

How did you hear about us?: - A friend, obskaterkid.

What do you think the server will be like? – Hopefully a serious roleplaying server, with few people whom act immature and rude.

Have you read and agreed to the rules?: - Yes.

What’s the rule you agree with the most?: - Number one, ‘No racist or abusive material is to be posted at any time to any player or member of staff - It is not necessary or needed.’, as I have had to deal with a lot of this throughout my gaming experience, and it has not been very pleasant.

Do you understand combat rules, and what you can and can’t do if you do choose to roleplay as a villain?:- Yes.

Definitions

 

These terms are a major part of the server and in a few of our rules. Please define them so that we can get an understanding of how much you know about roleplaying. Feel free to Google the answers or check on our wiki, but make sure that you write the reply in your own words, not those of another website or person!

 

What is roleplaying?: - Roleplaying is where one person can create a fictional character with a story, or no story, and they can act out as and be that character, saying and doing things however their character would. The way their character acts and speaks would be based off of that character's knowledge, not the player's knowledge, and the roleplays can range from romantics to fantasy and even medieval heroes.

 

What’s metagaming?: - Metagaming is where a player may say a piece of knowledge IC that their character shouldn't be aware of. This could include real-life animals, movies, books and people.

 

What’s powergaming?: - Powergaming is forcing an action upon another character, such as forcing the opposing character to die or take injury. Example: 'Aria drives her blade through Dave's heart, killing him'.

 

In-Character Information

 

Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that you follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play.

Give us a highlight of their past, what life events make your character the person they are today? This is your character's biography. It is also required to include server lore when writing. (Names of towns, major server events, ect. Most lore can be found on our wiki.): -

Aria grew up in the West of Anthos, with her sister, Rion, and their father. They never had a place to call home, only roaming, gathering herbs and edible fungus to eat. They hated hunting creatures, as they were dear friends to nature, but they hunted whenever they knew they were going to go hungry that night. They travelled through many towns, only staying at the most, two days. When they came upon a settlement commonly known as 'The Conclave', they grew rather fond of it, and stayed for almost two months. However, they had to leave, and when they later came across a settlement called 'The Tomb', their father caught a terrible illness, causing them to rush to the nearest city, however, they did not make it in time. After their father passed away when they were 12, they found life even more challenging and difficult. One night, the two sisters awoke to an eerie mist that was quickly enslaving the forest. They huddled together in the freezing darkness of the night, attempting to preserve their body warmth. Then, out of nowhere, an oddly sized blue spider approached and plucked her dear sister out of her arms, leaving behind only her most treasured, blue bow. Disappearing into the night, she never saw her sister again. 12 years later, she has grown to be quite the wood elf. Still rather short, even for an elf, her legs are more built up than they should be, causing her to have a strong kick, but rather weak punches. To this day, she searches for her lost sister, not allowing herself to become attached to others, as she will only be seen around The Conclave for at the most, two weeks, just in case her sister returns to it. For now, she roams the landscape, her face hidden beneath a hood, her ears picking up the slightest sound, always searching for her lost sister, to repair her broken heart.

 

What are they like? (Personality): - Secretive and secluded. Never saying more than a few words, and only speaking when necessary. She is withdrawn and hates bugs, especially spiders, and won’t hesitate to take out all of her weapons in order to kill one. While appearing to hate every human in existence, she only finds it difficult to get along with something other than a creature of the forest.

 

What are their ambitions?: - To roam the entire landscape of Anthos, and eventually find her lost sister. She also wishes to someday find someone, or something, that will truly understand her, possibly even love her.

 

Do they have any special skills? What are their weaknesses? (Try to list a few of both): - Aria has rather large, built up legs due to roaming through the forest throughout her life. She prefers to fight with a thin, slender, light sword, and will sleep with her sister’s bow strapped to her back. Her arms are relatively weak in comparison to her legs, but she still trains her body so she can fight without a weapon. She has an extreme fear of the ocean and being underground, causing her a disadvantage in fights whenever she’s in these locations. However, she usually has the advantage in the treetops and open spaces. She’s also a bit slower than the average elf, causing her to be less agile, but she only makes up with this by her silent tread, never being heard, allowing her to sneak past places even quieter than a mouse.

 

Give us a description of how they look?: - Aria has hair that is more blonde than dirty. She wears a faded blue cloak, with a hood that hides her face. Across her left eye is a scar, received as a battle scar from a fight with a huge spider. She has golden and silver armour, with fur lining her knee-length skirt and gloves, with her blade strapped to her hip, leather knee-length boots and long ears protruding from her hood, with dark green eyes that match the eaves of the forest canopy.

Thanks for reading! My definitions may be a bit slack, but I've never had to define these words, and I found them a little difficult to explain. I hope you enjoyed my bio, as I spent about half an hour doing research on the elves' and wood elves' culture and I spent quite a bit of time checking out the places and reading up on them!
