A Question About Pks

My character was pk'd on my first day by a couple a blokes who found it necessary to kill a new player for their characters different colored eyes. 

 

I was told later by some friends that forced pks are not allowed, is this true? and if so could I get the pk voided or could my character come back alive by some means?

You do not have to PK your character. No one on the server can force you to PK your character, either. If you are killed in roleplay, you are healed by the monks at the Cloud Temple. If you choose to PK after a death, you can, but that's your choice.

Since you didn't know, you can most certainly bring him back to life. This is in no way your fault, as these players were abusing the fact that you were a new player. I'm sorry you were confused like this, but I hope you continue to play and have fun on your character. Happy roleplaying. :)

As stated above, the only time your character remains dead is if they:

 

1.) Died by suicide (this is generally to prevent players from killing themselves to avoid RP they don't want to participate in)

2.) Are voted to stay dead by GMs/Admins (this rarely happens, and usually only for important/controversial characters)

 

You're more than welcome to continue playing that character. One thing, though: Your character loses a bit of memory pertaining to the encounter. They won't remember who killed them. This is to prevent metagaming.
