Definitions

 

These terms are a major part of the server and in a few of our rules. Please define them so that we can get an understanding of how much you know about roleplaying. Feel free to Google the answers or check on our wiki, but make sure that you write the reply in your own words, not those of another website or person!

 

What is roleplaying?: - Role-playing is where you play as a character from another time-period, Or play as a complete fictional character. You then basically play along their lives dynamically and interact with others.

 

What’s metagaming?: - Meta-gaming is where you use out of character information to benefit your character in the roleplay world, For example, You hear in team-speak that your leader is getting attacked, and you ask for coords and go there without knowing anything in roleplay.

 

What’s powergaming?: - Power-gaming is where you over-exeggerate your character to be over-powered compared to others, Making it not fun for others involved in the role play.

Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that you follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play.

How old are they?: - 21

 

Give us a highlight of their past, What life events make your character the person they are today? This is your character's biography. It is also required to include server lore when writing. (Names of towns, major server events, ect. Most lore can be found on our wiki.): - William Chey was born in Vekaro in the Fringe, Living quite an average child life. However, his life was soon to change. His father was called to fight against the Dwarven Raiders, But unfortunately he was slain by a Dwarven Arrow. 2 years later, His struggling mother soon after died of the Plague, leaving him all alone in the world at only the tender age of Eleven. He lost all contact with his cousin, Archidon Chey, However one day he was taken in by a rogue mercenary group, And trained as a hired sword. He was quite renowned in his skills, showing little emotion when committing to missions, Pretty much ignoring death, being not scared of it. He was hired by various rich businessmen or Noblemen, To act as a bodygaurd, or sometimes even commit hits. However, this caught attention of Gaurds city-wide, In places like Alras, Vekaro and Oren , and other small settlements. It became so extreme that he could not live a happy life. In the end, He had to completey  change how he looked. He grew a beard, and grew his hair longer, along with complety changing his outfit so that he would not be noticed by the gaurds. And with that, he went to live a new life, Starting anew in the world of Athera.

 

What are they like? (personality): - William is a general 'smooth going' kind of character, And is not one to get annoyed easily. He is calm mostly, Except for when in danger he gets panicked, And he is sometimes very paranoid.

 

What are their ambitions?: - He wishes to become a well known Mercenary Fighter, Better than oren's best.

 

Do they have any special skills? What are their weaknesses? (Try to list a few of both): - Do they have any special skills? What are their weaknesses? (Try to list a few of both): - William is good with the sword, and is generally calm and well-going. He is also well suited for manual labour, However, his hands are not very good for crafting, and he also cannot feel love.

 

Give us a description of how they look?: - Tall, Black Hair, Piercing Green eyes, Fairly long jet black hair, And quite plain clothing.
