What’s the rule you agree with the most?: - not sharing accounts.  this has frustrated me in the past on another server,

What is roleplaying?: - improv playacting as a fictional character to create a drama storyline that is largely freeform.  

 

What’s metagaming?: - when a character uses info obtained out of character, in character

 

What’s powergaming?: - when one assumes ones attack is completely successful and disregarding ones opponents potential counters

Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that you follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play.

What race are they? Human

 

What gender are they?: - Male

 

How old are they?: - 35

 

Give us a highlight of their past, What life events make your character the person they are today? This is your character's biography. It is also required to include server lore when writing.  

 

Artur de' Grau is an orphan.  He was abandoned as a child on the outskirts of Vekaro and grew up feral.  He is uneducated and completely socialized.  He has no respect for anyone or anything but those who have helped him.  To them he is loyal with out question.  Artur left Vekaro after it burned and wandered around Thales scavenging and existing on the fringe of human society.  He has seen elves and orcs and even dwarves treated better than himself and holds contempt and mistrust for his own race.  During the exodus from Thales to Athera, Artur would have been left behind with "the rubbish" buy his own people.  He was picked up in a boat by an elven mage and his apprentice moments before the portal closed.  They were the first adults to unselfishly help him in his entire life.  He now serves them in an attempt to thank them for saving his life.  

 

What are they like? Grumpy.  Having learned to not trust anyone but himself and his elven friends,  Artur treats everyone with contempt.  He doesn't to do anything for anyone and wants to keep to himself but this conflicts with his loyalty to his friends.  This core conflict leaves him in a perpetual foul mood.  He only finds peace in solitude.  

 

What are their ambitions?: - To learn to sculpt trees and bushes into statuary.  He once heard Amondir Chrometracker remark on a fancy garden and Artur would like to replicate a similar garden for his friend.  This would allow him to please his friend in an indirect way.

 

Do they have any special skills? What are their weaknesses?  He is well practiced at grounds maintenance and acting as minor support staff.  Artur de' Grau is bad mannered.  Due to his feral childhood, he never learned to interact with others and so is curt, even rude in his manner.  He doesn't mean to normally, he is just interacting on as simple and basic level as possible.  

Artur has no combative skills.  He is self-taught at food procurement.  Artur is fiercely loyal to Chrometracker and his apprentice, but would betray anyone else without a moments hesitation.  His priority is always to himself first, his friends second.  There is no other level of loyalty below that.  All others could simply die and he wouldn't care.
