Tristanx7 142 Share Posted September 6, 2014 Minecraft name(s): tristanx7 Skype ID: lupus0507 Time zone: CST Have you ever been banned or received a strike? If so, link the report: I have been twice, once for using an enderpearl and a second time in a building misunderstanding. No reports were filed. Do you hold / have you held any other staff positions? No. What MMORPG/video games have you / do you play? SMITE, LoL, WoW, SWTOR, TERA, TF2, Vindictus What are your characters? Are you willing to sacrifice any to become a Event member? I have a Kha named S'Tasko and a dwarf named Gotrek. I'm willing to sacrifice Gotrek to become an ET member. What race / group do you think your events would best cater to? If none in particular, give an example of the type of group that your events would entertain. I'm very versatile when it comes to events, so I would discuss the event with the group's leader to figure out what they would want. I think my events could cater to humans, elves, and dwarves mainly. What do you believe are key factors for a successful event? Communication on behalf of the ET member(s) and players involved. When was the last time you saw a event? Demon attacking event in Fringe What strengths could you contribute to the Event Team? Are you knowledgeable in lore or great at organizing? I'm very good at organizing things, and I've been running D&D campaigns for a really long time, so I'm good at setting up storylines and encounters and the like. Why do you want to be part of the ET? I've always wanted to be able to positively influence RP on the server, and the ET seemed like the best way to do so. Create three distinct RP scenarios/events based on LOTC lore that you would organize. These are pitches to the Managers and Ouity, not to the community. Note: Not all of the group must be handled at once. Eg: 20+ people via 5 person increments in a dungeon. 1) For 1-3 person: Small groups are perfect for a horror event, because then there isn't the idea of safety in numbers. I would probably run something akin to a slender-man themed monster that appears in front of the players and then vanishes, leave shredded corpses in the event area, etc. 2) For a group of 5-10: For a group like this, I would most likely do a dungeon-crawl style event. Abandoned ruins, a crumbling wizards tower, things like that. If we are given the ability to spawn mobs, I would use it often to send them after the players, have an RP fight boss at the end of the crawl. 3) For a group of 20+: A fishing derby. Players would be able to RP fishing, not necessarily if their profession dictates it or not. Roll out of 20, your number determining the size of the fish. At the end of the derby, the person with the lowest rolls would wind up catching a giant catfish, and the fishermen would have to fight it. How long do you plan to stay in the ET? As long as life permits, school and the real world may make it impossible for me to have any obligations on LotC Tell me a joke: A dwarf interrupted the Grand King during a meeting. The King stood up, and beat the dwarf into unconsciousness. He then snapped in a Z-Formation, looked at the body, and said "Rule numb'r 'un, lad. Talk ****, get hit!"
