Synopsis: House de Bar  is the second cadet line of the Dynasty of Ashford, finding its origins in it’s founder Gwenael Ashford.

-[LILIANNA ASHFORD], his sister, formally betrothed to Prince Robert of Kaedrin, abandoned in the Exodus and wed matrilineally to Gregor du Pont,

-CLOVIS DE SAVOIE, her eldest son, a scholarly youth,

-[CARDEN ASHFORD], his brother, a scarred leper but gentle boy who died alone of his disease with no issue,

-[VELWYN ASHFORD], called THE GOOD, his father, a charitable man of iron conviction and faith, elected 16th High Pontiff of the Faith as Lucien I, restored the Papacy’s good name, served for the longest time of any High Pontiff, abdicated in favor of Rev. Owyn Carrion and sailed across the seas on the Exodus, died in exile, canonized St. Lucien of Savoie,

-[JULIANNA ASHFORD], his mother, a good-hearted woman rumored to have participated in her life in ill dealings,
