  • Minecraft name(s): truxtonl

  • Skype ID: Epixpixs

  • Time zone: Mountain time (U.S. , Canada)

  • Have you ever been banned or received a strike? If so, link the report: Nope

  • Do you hold / have you held any other staff positions? Nope

  • What MMORPGarrow-10x10.png/video games have you / do you play? (Past and Present) World of Warcraft, Destiny, Runescape, Maplestory, War of Immortals, and spiral knights.

  • What are your characters? Are you willing to sacrifice any to become a Event member? Yaen (High Elf), Dahk'kaan (Kha'Pantera), Sarai (Human), Natol (High Elf). Yes, I would sacrifice any of them if needed

  • What race / group do you think your events would best cater to? If none in particular, give an example of the type of group that your events would entertain. Most likely elves, I've spent a lot of time with them and could probably come up with a lot of fun events for them.

  • What do you believe are key factors for a successful event?

1. Enjoyment, why plan an event if no one is going to enjoy it or have fun?

2. Depth, if you plan a bland event, it will deter the enjoyment factor by a lot.

3. Involvement, the more you can involve (usually) the better.

  • When was the last time you saw a event? I have never actually seen an LOTC even happen to me personally, I think I saw one about two weeks ago?

  • What strengths could you contribute to the Event Team? Are you knowledgeable in lore or great at organizing?

I'm always willing to help brainstorm some ideas for a event, I had owned a RP server myself, and I planned events for it everyday. So coming up with a unique event is not hard for me.

  • Why do you want to be part of the ET?

I spend a lot of my time on LOTC,  I love spending time connecting with others and roleplaying, so I figured "Why not take it a step forward?". Being part of the ET would provide new ways to connect and grow with the LOTC community.

  • Create three distinct RP scenarios/events based on LOTC lore that you would organize. These are pitches to the Managers and Ouity, not to the community. Note: Not all of the group must be handled at once. Eg: 20+ people via 5 person increments in a dungeon.

    • 1) For 1-3 person

  • It's a harsh rainy day, rain beats against the cloaks of three adventurers. Deep in the middle of the forest, they search frantically for  somewhere to seek refuge from the forces. As they search, they come across a cave. The cave seems to be... glowing? As they approach the cave they can clearly see freshly lit torches, leading all the to the back of the cave. Curiosity strikes their minds, they begin following the dim light, as they venture deep into the cave, a eerie chanting can be heard. The chanting rings through the adventurer's ears as they approach, once they are a mere twenty feet away, they can make out what seems to be a ritual. A hooded man holds an anthem up in the air, ready to bring in down into the chest of a little girl tied to an altar. One of the young adventurers pulls off his cloak, revealing his snipped Elven ears. He pulls his bow from his back quickly, preparing an arrow, and aiming for the man's head. The other adventurer's do as the other one does, only drawing their short  swords rather than bow. As the Elven archer releases his arrow, it goes flying towards the head of the cultist leader. As the arrow hits it mark, the cultist drops to the floor, now dead. The other cultists look up at the intruders before drawing their blades, now ready to fight. The two adventurers rush into battle  head on with the cultists as the other stays back and supports them with arrows. {Insert battle scene here} As the last cultist falls to the ground, the Elven adventurer approaches the altar, helping the young girl up. As a token of her gratitude she offers the men five hundred minas each, before running off into the storm.

    • 2) For a group of 5-10

  • An Orcish caravan makes its way down the road, the Orcs sing songs of war, and killing. As the Orc caravan reaches a small town, they prepare a small attack. Two Orc shamans prepare a small thunderstorm over the village as fifteen Orc footmen rush in to start pillaging the village. An adventurer rounds up a small group of strong warriors, once they are all prepared and ready, the march towards the town. The Orcs still are attacking the village, taking crops, money, jewels, anything they might find valuable. As the group of warriors approach the village, the shamans redirect their power onto the group. {Insert more awesome fights here} As the last Orc slain, the warriors round up at the town square to meet the duke, as a reward for their bravery, he offers them some minas, along with priority everything within the town.

    • 3) For a group of 20+

  • A low rumble can be heard from the forests of Filandria, The elven city quickly begins to panic, a small scout group is sent out into the forest to find the source of the rumble, hours pass, and another rumble is heard. A single scout from the party walks into the city, a arrow stuck in his back. He collapses to the ground, as people frantically try to gather information, all he is able to say is "The... P-people. W-with... Antlers" This referring to the Cervitaurs that have welcomed themselves into the forest, could they be mad? What's the cause of this? As a larger force is now assembled, they march into the forest, ready to fight if needed. As they reach the middle of the forest, the few Cervitaurs currently alive, stand with arrows ready to fire at the approaching force. {Insert some dramatic conflict rp here} The Cervitaur leader, it seems, stomps his hooves into the ground, signaling for his archers to fire, the Cervitaur warriors shoot their arrows, most of them hitting, the battle begins. {Insert some awesome fight sequence here} As the last Cervitaur lays on the ground, bloodied and wounded, the survivors from the battle approach it. Their next move may just decide the fate of the Cervitaur.

((Side note, we'd need to get the lovely Cervitaurs on this with us, this type of event would also require some interesting RP leading up to it))

  • How long do you plan to stay in the ET?

As long as I can.

  • Tell me a joke

My love life.

Truxton has a tendency to complain, and on occasion, walk off when things don't go his way in roleplay. I don't feel like that's the right attitude that an Event Team member should have. -1

My experience with truxtonl and his characters is rather different from Daelaris'.

Quite often his main character is injured or has lost or damaged his gear in some way. I've seen his character regularly attacked and at some points even maimed. Quite honestly though, I don't remember seeing him genuinely complain about his character's situation, ever. He's gone through with all the RP, good or bad, I've seen others subject him to and he has made the best of the situation each time. (Good or bad as in good or bad for his character, not the quality of RP, getting a hand chopped off is bad for instance.)

He's eager to try new things and experiment with various types of characters. Without making it seem like I'm trumping him up, the one portion of negative feedback I will say is one character in particular is rather edgy/cliche, take your pick.

However, to redeem him, I will say that he has a knack for what I believe are subtle notes of complexity within his main character. Seeing his character's 'sketch book' the other day and all that was within it really surprised me, for instance.

Overall, I'd say he has a few things to work on, but only a few. He seems to have a good attitude, I feel his heart's in the right place and he's more than willing to learn considering how much I've seen his RP improve already while working under my own character.

He's a good RPer and it's been fun watching how his characters grow over the course of various situations. I think he could do well on the ET.

I've RPed a lot with Trux on all of his characters, and I love how each of his characters treats Briar differently, how they each come off as fully separate characters who could easily belong to different people. I've seen some of the scenarios he comes up with for some of our RP sessions, and I'm almost always impressed. He rolls with all the punches, and finds a way to draw good RP out of anything. I think he'd be a great addition to the ET.

I've roleplayed with Truxtonl for about 2 months now, and I must say that it has honestly been some of the most entertaining RP I've had. His characters are unique and I've seen him roleplay through various situations. Whether it be depression, joy, anger or love, Truxtonl always finds a way to provide fun RP for himself, as well as the other people around him, creating fun and enjoyable RP out of the smallest things. As well as Briar, I also enjoy how each of his characters come off as fully separate characters. This makes RP with his other characters somewhat different (in a good way ;) )  Overall, I find Truxtonl's roleplay engaging and believe he will be a great addition to the ET
