What do you think the server will be like? - So far, I believe this server will be a feudal-esque roleplay server.

What’s the rule you agree with the most?: -  The rule that states that metagaming and powergaming are not allowed.

Do you understand combat rules, and what you can and can’t do if you do choose to roleplay as a villain?:- I am fully aware of the combat rules.

These terms are a major part of the server and in a few of our rules. Please define them so that we can get an understanding of how much you know about roleplaying. What is roleplaying?: - Roleplaying is the act of taking the role of a character and playing as them according to their traits and personality.

 

What’s metagaming?: - Metagaming is using knowledge acquired by out of character means and using it to the benefit of your character such as if you learned about a plot to kill your character by using a guest account and eavesdropping on the plotters.

 

What’s powergaming?: - Powergaming is basically playing to win. An example of this would be neglecting the RP side of the server and simply grinding to get better equipment. Another example would be denying a person a chance to react in an RP situation such as a battle by simply going 'X dodges Y's attack and stabs them in the heart'.

What’s your character called?: - Cerdic Dacre

 

What race are they? (and sub-race if applicable): - Pureblooded Human (Heartlander)

 

What gender are they?: -  Male

 

How old are they?: - 18

 

Give us a highlight of their past, What life events make your character the person they are today? This is your character's biography. It is also required to include server lore when writing. (Names of towns, major server events, ect. Most lore can be found on our wiki.): - Cerdic was born in The Fringe in the year 1455 in the city of Alras as the younger son of  two sons of a wealthy lesser noble. This was a time of great political strife, unrest and turbulence, something that would partially shape Cerdic's current goals. During the time he had been growing up, there had been a war between to rival coalitions, the Bloc and the Silver-Crimson. However, the war had been cut short by the spread of a catastrophic plague name Khorvad's Grip with a high mortality rate and excruciatingly painful symptoms, what came after was much worse. There were famines, draughts as other diseases began to run rampant.

 

House Dacre had miraculously endured the plague and when Cerdic was 10, they managed to sail to Thales and escape the then lifeless Fringe. It was during this time that Cerdic's aptitude for diplomacy became apparent and his father had hired a private tutor well versed in statescraft who had instilled in him the ideals of pragmatism and ambition. However, his stay at Thales had been cut short. Just after 3 years of arriving, harsh winters had devastated the lands which had made his family, now shortened to only 3 survivng members, flee to Athera and take up residence in Alras. It was here that his tutelage came to an end at age 16 and in the year 1473, he, along with his brother, had left Alras on their journey to the capital, Petrus due to Cerdic's ambition to make a name for himself there.

 

What are they like? (personality): - Well spoken, charismatic, prudent and shrewd to name a few. More will be decided in-game, or if needed, I'll expand upon if asked to.

 

What are their ambitions?: - I'm going to be particularly ambitious with this character. My goal would be to rise to prominence in Oren politics, assure the longetivity of House Dacre and become a landed noble. I will leave further goals to development.

 

Do they have any special skills? What are their weaknesses? (Try to list a few of both): -  He is particularly skilled in statescraft, general diplomacy and stewardship but lacks millitary prowess, something that he will hopefully rectify upon reaching the capital.

 

Give us a description of how they look?: - He stands at a fairly average 5'11 with a lithe build. He has kempt brown hair borderlining on auburn. His eyes are cobalt blue, a trait that many in his family possess. Normally, he often sports upperclassmen clothing which alerts people of his social status.
