Kalameet promptly pins up a notice, clear to any and all who would like to read it. He'd look it over carefully before scowling, grunting, and quickly departing.

"Greetings Mali'aheral who've taken the time to read this. It has come to my attention now that one of our own have fallen, that the rest of the Mali'aheral who've offered themselves for the position of Sohaer are undesirable, and off putting. Incompetence, clouded judgment, and inefficiency runs rampant through our candidates.

I will once more offer myself to the Mali'aheral of Haelun'or, again giving these words; I am calculated, efficient, and my judgment will not be clouded by emotion or other illogical tendencies. I seek to help guide our people towards progression and a bright, safe future. It is time for the Silver Dogma.

Maehr'sae hiylun'ehya."

"I am actually quite offended by this Kalameet. It is ill to speak so lowly of a friend that once bestowed knowledge upon you. What is more inefficient than asking to cut off the voting process so that you may enter your own name? We do not need calculations. We need charisma and integrity. We do not need one leader making the decision for all. We need a person who is going to listen to the whole and offer their assistance doing what is right." Iatrilemar states. "However that being said I welcome you to the running should the voting not have already concluded."

Calendir bandages up his hands as re-enters the Elven Capital after a year of "academic research". He walks up behind Kalameet as he posts his notices with a grin, still smiling as Kalameet leaves.

A leader I can rally behind.

"One of the candidates have fallen. Many votes have been miscast, suddenly null and void from the election. Morality based choices often make the worst choices, llir. It is after all, religion which makes up the moral catalyst, which in turn causes war and chaos for our people. Right and wrong are often relative, specially with three differing cultures. A perspective of all three cultures is required, and as one who has experienced much since the last he left, I believe I can achieve this. You are one of the more desirable candidates llir, but I believe, in the end, you would be weathered by the stress that follows the position."

Kalameet would bow respectively.

Iat speaks up yet agian

"I thank you for your words but the same can be said for you Kalameet. You were the leader of the Mage's college yet you are not now. Surely you cannot speak to this one about becoming weathered? I have held and -kept- any and all of my political positions throughout my time serving Haelun'or. I have also spent my time before venturing to the Enclave around our cousins in Normandor and during the fall of Lin'evaral I made it my mission to study any and all I could. Choosing to ignore morals is what got us to where we are now. On the verge of losing any hope of reclaiming the bond with our kin. We are not enchantments placed upon objects only fit to carry out a single function. We are mali, sons and daughters of Malin. We are complex beings and morality is ingrained into our blood. To choose to ignore morality altogether is to live blindly. Leading upon morality is not the answer but neither is leading upon calculation. It will only drive us deeper into the pit of hatred we have dug for ourselves.

On the subject of the fallen candidate. We do not yet know whether the monks will be able to revive her. I choose to think she will make her return and that those voting for her have not done so in vain."

"I departed the Mages Guild. I did my part, and I sought to allow the Guild to stand on its own, however seemingly to no avail. Regardless, dealing with three different cultures takes delicacy and patience. Which I've an assortment of both. Soft words, and sweet wishes will not lead us to betterment. As before mentioned, I'm frightened your patience will thin and ware."

"Patience is what has brought me through the two terms of Mr.Uradir. Need I say more?"

"Patience is the easy part. It's the finale culmination that matters, else your patience if for naught.

I don't believe more needs to be said."

"I am unaware of how to continue. I do believe it may be up to the Sohaer in order to decide the fate of the election."

Delonna simply grunts.

"Don't use the death of one of our own as an excuse to further your ambitions. Until we see the election's results, I see no reason the whole thing should be redone simply because one individual with a shadey past ((I'm aweful)) doesn't approve of the remaining candidates. Unless the deceased is selected as the victor, then remaining on the current course of action is more logical."

Poppy, having been strolling by one of the little shops in the Elven city, peered at one of the posters. Her head tilted as a delicate "v" formed between her brows, the result of a frown. Turning her head to the two speaking with one another about politics, Poppy slowly and casually moved behind a stall to listen. Her ears perked up at Kalameet's signature and she peeked around the corner to him. Swallowing slightly, she looked at him warily before continuing on her ways.

"Scary man he is..." She murmured to herself, remembering what her little brother had told her about him and tucking a curly white lock of hair behind her ear. "... I should follow the politics more..." Her ears lowered slightly at the thought and she reached over, taking one of the notices from the wall.
