The trio stood before the looming mountain, bigg'un armies gathered at the door. They stood gazing in awe at such a massive landform, the doors stood like pathways to a story akin to Hob Brandybuck's famed tales. Unknown to them beneath these depths was a horror much greater than a dragon and some dwarves, an evil that nearly wiped out the races.

Hours later they had finished trekking amongst the large armies, weaving in and out between legs, and what they met drove fear into their hearts. It was a meeting between the most joyful people and the vilest evil.

They returned home to the Hills, rain slammed down constantly on the sleepy village, a few halflings sat drinking ale at the Inn while a couple was eating pie in the window, admiring the drip drops on the flowers. Fumble shook hands with Amell, and Amell shuffled off to their burrows. The Elder waddled into the warm Inn where some Poscoed Halflings sat in their drunken haze. Merla made her way over to the Inn, entering the couch area with her fortune telling cards. Fumble had requested her fortune telling skills, to read if his change was any closer. He flipped the card, A Chariot. The change in his life was fastly approaching, and he could remember the crisp memory of the first card showing him a change in his life... the Reaper. The Life Taker. As he laid his heavy head on his pillow he wondered, was the Betrayer going to bring such change into his life?
