No, really who do you think you are?

When I look into my screen, and see you watching back.

Who do you think you are?

You dare say you're Me.

You dare say you're the person that claims to be so much, yet delivers so little.

 

That's not you. It's me.

 

Though you may be controlled by myself, you aren't.. Me.

Don't you dare say you're the same as me.

Don't you dare say that you are in fact, the person who looks into the screen. No. You're the one who gets to stare back.

You're the one who lives in this place.

This wonderful place.

This place of beauty. Diversity. Friendships.

This place, that you are a hero in. A leader in. A villain in.

 

So don't you dare say you are the same person as the one that controls you.

You don't deal with.. Them.

Those people who make it a goal in your life to defeat you. To make you feel worse than dirt. To make you feel lower than the lowest standard.

The people, that no matter how much you prove yourself, don't let you be the hero. The leader.

 

So what's left for me?

 

I can only be the villain. I've tried to hard to be like you. To have your courage. Your bravery. Your charms.

 

So who are you? Staring back at me, stealing my face and saying it is yours. Daring to say that we are in fact, the same. But we both know,
