Knighty 18 Share Posted October 2, 2014 Ive been raising my Woodworking skill for a good while now, but Ive never really known one factor. What does Bow Veolicty do? Does it improve damage? Or Range? Would be nice to know, now Im getting 25%+ bonuses on it.
Huh 91 Share Posted October 2, 2014 Velocity is the rate of change of an objects position over time is a specific direction. By receiving a 25% bonus, the arrows shot from the bow will travel a greater distance. So, in short, it should improve range. But then again, I didn't invent the system. DrakeHaze. 2524 Share Posted October 3, 2014 From testing it myself, it essentially shoots the arrow out /way/ faster and makes aiming long-range easier since you barely have to account for the drop. Also, it increases damage I think.
Sporadic 2844 Share Posted October 4, 2014 Since arrow damage is computed with the impact velocity in mind the bonus does indeed increase damage also.
