How old are they?: 19

Give us a highlight of their past, What life events make your character the person they are today? This is your character's biography. It is also required to include server lore when writing: Hyacinthe grew up beneath Godfrey’s Peaks with his human mother, who enjoyed cooking. His father was a high elf and left Hyacinthe and his mother before his birth, causing his mother to grow immensely attached to Hyacinthe. She was very protective of him throughout his youth, mostly to shelter him from others’ disdain towards half-breeds, and to assure herself of his absolute safety, which led him to find pleasure inside the walls of her garden. He had never had trouble blending in among other humans, and was instructed from birth to conceal his taboo heritage. Although people sometimes inquired as to why his eyes were so dazzling, he never gave anyone reason to suspect anything out of the ordinary.
As he became older, Hyacinthe’s mother loosened her grip on him, allowing him to gather ingredients from nearby woods for meals. At the age of seventeen, while out foraging mushrooms in a cave for one of his mother’s stews, the roof collapsed, entombing him inside. The cave was entirely composed of stone, making it impossible for him to escape. The total darkness there feasted on the boy who loved the sun, but he managed to survive for two years off of the many mushrooms that grew there, and from a small reserve of underground water, until another happenchance cave-in opened an exit just big enough for him to wriggle himself through. Once free, he pieced together his way through the woods and back to his home to discover the garden flattened, and a family that was not his own residing there. He asked them what became of the woman who lived in the home before, to which they explained how she had searched for her missing son long after the guard gave up, and eventually took her life in anguish over the loss.
Hyacinthe has been wandering since he received this news days ago.

What are they like?: Hyacinthe is an endearingly naïve young man whose presence fills others with joy (or annoyance to the grumpy sort). He was often found singing to himself as he wandered his mother’s garden, and liked to think of everything as being sentient, routinely holding conversation with flowers or his watering pot. Hyacinthe reveres the sun, knowing that it is that which his life and love depend on. He’s become quieter since living in silence for so long, although his cheerful self is likely to resurface again someday. He has developed an intense aversion to caves, now avoiding them and anything alike always, and he’s not particularly fond of mushrooms anymore, either.

What are their ambitions?: Before the cave, Hyacinthe mostly tended to his mother’s garden. He has always wanted to have one of his own, filled with every kind of flower that grows in Athera, though he seriously doubts he’d be able to travel to the far reaches of the realm to acquire each and every plant. With his mother now dead, the raising of that infinite garden in her memory is the only solace he can imagine.

Do they have any special skills? What are their weaknesses?: Hyacinthe is a budding master botanist, having been raised alongside his mother’s deep passion for flowers and their care. He is an exceptional forager, and is able to survive in the wild alone for some time. The magnitude of his perception of surrounding areas has increased since he was trapped in the cave. Unfortunately, as he spent most of his youth in his mother’s garden and under her care, he never took the time to learn how to cook for himself, which he feels a bit embarrassed by. He thinks that he’s been a bit left behind in the times, so he’s wary of the thought of speaking to others now, as he fears they are sure to be far more informed than him.

Give us a description of how they look?: Hyacinthe had blonde hair that has now de-saturated into a lifeless grey/white as a result of lacking proper sunlight, which has also caused him to become rather pale. He’s of a slender build, 5’9”, with eyes the color of a violet/blue mixture. He is still dressed in the clothes he wore into the cave two years ago, now dirty and slightly ragged.

I really enjoyed reading this application and I can't wait to see you in-game. I think you'd fit in well with the new elven capital, and perhaps even in the druidic order or the settlement of Norithel, a farming community.

Have fun!
