A sudden burst of light emits from a nearby cavern entrance. Through it emerges a legion of dwarves marching into the cavern in unison. Each of the dwarves was equipped with heavy armor, a lantern, and a pickaxe strapped to their back. At the head if the group was a dwarf with a burly untamable beard, smoking a cigar while holding a lantern in front of him. The legion continues down the cavern heartily singing with loud and deep voices. The clanking of their armor and the stomping of their boots forged a bold sound that was sent smashing into the depths below. All creature within the cavern shrank away in fear, while the dwarves tumbled through.

The cavern had shrunk into a small passageway, and the legion marched on in a single column. A few moments later the legion met up with a cave-in arresting their progress. The dwarf at the head of the group reached into his satchel and removed from it a small bundle of explosives. The dwarf jams the destructive bundle into a nearby crevice, and takes the cigar from his mouth, and bringing it to the bundle he lights the fuse. By the time the legion had realised what he was doing they had all backed away, and only the lighter of the bundle had to dive for cover, which he did in as quick and decisive manner as he could possibly commit.

With a bang did the cave-in that had previously stopped their progression shatter and disperse from their path. The lead dwarf cursed as he became aware he left his lantern with the bundle, and ordered the dwarf behind him to sacrifice his own. Further the column went, until they cleared out of the small passage and their way was opened up with a large cavern room. The ceiling was far above them, and the space between the walls of the room vast. immediately and with glee did the dwarves set to work, scavenging the room for any type of gem and ore they could find.

Hours later did the legion of dwarves return to their home above, with packs and carts full of precious ores and gems. Those who carried ore quickly set about equipping all the blacksmiths at their forges, the great amount of ash still clouding the sky in a grey blanket, only the brightest of starts shining through.

Dwain works hard smelting the ores thinking of taking up the blacksmith profession.... but then thinks of all the pastries he makes and shrugs off the thought

*Drax Scriptur hears word of the column of smoke and ash coming from the Dwarven forges and scowls at the Dwarves blatant ignorance of global warming.

Angus smiles warmly as he stands smoking his pipe and looking out upon Hiebenhall. A traditional Dwarven tune floats through the crisp air towards him- one he and many other Dwarves learned as children and continues to fill his heart with nostalgia to this day. "I am a Dwarf an' I'm diggin' a 'ole, diggeh diggeh 'ole, I'm diggin' a 'ole..."
